Number of attacks

Am I reading the players handbook right? Fighter is the only class to get xtra attacks and only one at lvl 10? I am not considering the joke Dominance he/she gets at lvl 4 vs 1 hit dice crapozlola since those 1 hit dice are not even near a shadow of a danger already at hat level for a fighter. So basically its giving a bonus vs mobs that wouldn't even have a chance of denting the boots of his/her armor if he/she ever encounter any ever after lvl 4 anyway.

So the only thing a Fighter as is ONE xtra attack at lvl 10?

And don't point to me the armor/shield no limit thingy. At higher lvl the big difference in AC for the different type of armor and shield evaporates like water in the Sahara since mobs have either very to hit bonuses or tons of ways to work around a targeted attack on AC.

So my question is was this the way you wanted the Fighter to be?

The class is as it was designed to be, yes.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised anyone answered you.

Tsk. Welcome to the boards. I hope your subsequent posts aren't as argumentative.

There have been many discussions in the Rules/Laws/Chaos forum on the efficacy of the fighter class. You might start by searching there. It could shed some light on C&C's design philosophy.

Of course, I could elaborate here and provide a somewhat official response, but I don't think your post deserves the effort required for that sort of reply.
