U1 - Shadows of the Halfling Hall - PDF missing map?

Post by talvola »

After getting U1 from rpgnow, it appears that maybe a map is missing? In the Town of Newbriar section, it talks about rooms 2-1 through 2-7 of the Inn of the Portly Partridge, but no map has that sort of detail. I think I saw a comment that this might have been left out of the PDF but was in the printed version, but not sure. If so, is the map available?

Also, just to confirm, the text calls the estate Brambletoe, but the map says Brambletree - assuming Brambletoe is correct, but wanted to see what the official word was.

thanks...

I'm on the road right now, but will be home by late Thursday, so if no one has helped you out by Friday, PM me Friday and I will scan my physical copy if it does have the proper maps.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Hey Talvola,

You are correct in "Brambletoe" being the correct name...dunno where Branbletree came from. Sounds like a druid! ;)

As for the inn, I THINK there's a map in the print version. I will scan and post tonight if its there.

Hope you enjoy the module,

In my 1st print copy, there is no map...which is odd. Does anyone have any subsequent printings?

thanks for the help. I was commenting based on the references to the rooms in the building, and an RPGNow review that said

"It is 24 pages long, includes 5 keyed maps (although based on my reading, one may be missing from the PDF that I think may have been present on the inside cover)"

but having never seen the physical copy - wasn't sure.

<nod> I'll see if I can lean on Steve to add that map into the pdf at least... Maybe stick it into the hardcopy if another r print run goes out.

Let us know what you think of the module in play...!
