Slag Heap - what level?

The first page says it's for characters of 3rd-5th level, while the second page says 3-5 characters of 2nd-3rd level...

Its for characters living to not-quite-dead. Actually, I'd run them at the average there, or 3rd, as its the only number repeated.

2nd page is correct.
The 2nd number after the A, designates recommended level.
Assault - A1 - levels 1-3
Slag - A2 - levels 2-4
Wicked - A3 levels 3-5

Depends on the size of the party, but I would suggest level 2 at a minimum and no higher than 4th.
