Hi,
I'd like to run this campaign with C&C (and probably Quenn of Spiders after that) but with a new group. As I don't want to have them create level 7 or 8 characters, I have to run an introduction. 'Temple of Elemental Evil' is out of question, I'm not particularly fan of this big module.
I've been thinking to run TLG's A1 (Assault on Blacktooth Ridge), but instead of a rival noble wanting to get the town of Botkinburg, I may have an ancient race living under the Vargolg wanting to suppress the new invader (and run D&D's B4 The Lost City on the run). The first room of the Lost City could be in room 29 of the Vargolg.
After that, I'll probably go on with D&D's B10 (Night's Dark Terror), with a further help to the Botkin guy as the Cynidiceans try to gather other goblin clans against him.
Then I have a big hole between that and the Slavelords (which will probably begin in Botkinburg instead of Homlett). Maybe Isle of Dread for some exotic stuff to do, but I'm not sure. So if you have any ideas for modules for the level range 4-7, I'd like some input. I have access to many D&D and AD&D (and C&C of course) modules.
My last issue is that these modules are located in Aihrde, Mystara and Greyhawk. I'm mostly familiar with Mystara, do you know how I could tie all this in this place (or I make my own universe based on these modules...)
If you have anything to help me, I thank you.

A1-4 Scourge of the Slavelords 'Prequel'
Hello Hybban.
That sounds very cool and is somewhat similar to what I have set up in my campaign world. I love to have lots of modules strategically planted around my main area. And that is Botkinburg. Blacktooth Ridge and Yggsburgh set in Greyhawk, which is in Aihrde.
You can do the same, just pick your favorite overall world setting.
IMO, each can sit in the other. If Mystara is your fav, then stick whatever areas of GH and Aihrde into it. It'll work beautifully.
Many others here have done some nice customizing of their campaign worlds utilizing these and other worlds.

Welcome and hi!
Just so you know I went through A1: Blacktooth Ridge with my current party, then as they journeyed to a larger coastal city on a sidequest they indeed ended up heading for X1: The Isle of Dread; after they are finished with that, they will return to Botkinburg and I'll use A2 Slag Heaps, which is a great "sandbox" kind of module. My memory is not as sharp on the A Slavelord series, but I think that might put you into a good range level-wise to start it.
I think you are wide open to what world you can set it... it may be advantageous to let it "stay local" for your players, get a sense of what they are looking for and then find the best world at large to fit all this into (probably will need to have some sense by the time you really get into the Slave Trade thing, as that will want for a larger political frame).
Sounds like you'd lean towards Mystara.... certainly there are places on the fringes of the Grand Duchy that might fit well.

Well, you could always throw in X2 Castle Amber for a weird episode in between.
I'm not sure that I want something that weird, but being french, I kind os like this module. But what I want to run is a little bit more 'serious', if you know what I mean.
I think I'll try to insert the module that was with the C&C screen. The only way to enter the Lost City (protected by a really powerful illusion) is to retreive an artifact kept by a weird orc that has taken an old fort further on the ridge... This Orc is sure that a god has been speaking to him and sometimesgo to the Vargolg to get missions (taking back the lands that the humans have conquered). This orc has hired the goblins of the vargolg to help him in his deeds. The artifact will allow them to see the 3 statues guarding the entrance of the city. The orcs have also wrecked havoc in the forest and the faeries would be very glad that someone help them... And is the troll bridge related to the old Troll that help the orc chieftain. I think that this A1/Screen part should give lots of roleplaying opprtunities.
When reaching the Lost City at the bottom of the pyramid and meeting with the God, this one will want that his island is restored to him. Te character should understand that the city has been moved from its original space and have to travel to restore the order of everything. They have one year to defeat the Isle of Dread.
I'm sure that when they'll come back, they'll be fit for the Scourge of the Slave lords. This should give a very interesting campaign.
And for the setting, I love beginning in the Duhy of Karameikos (probably on teh borderlands), because the Shearing Ceremony is such a good background idea to send young adventurers on the road to prove themselves...
If anybody have some advices on the modules I want to use, some troubles they have found on the way, I'll be glad to know.
