Started Vahkund Again!
I'm running Vahkund again, and everyone loves it. Just had the first session last night! There are three players: a Knight, a Ranger, and an Assassin. The Knight is from Halpveg in search of the Magdole Gang headquarters, and endeared himself to Evanna and Rothenheimer after the first road encounter: Charging a Meledont with his lance and with a natural 20, killed it in one blow! The Ranger is local to Frisia, with an informal military relationship with the Watchtower. The assassin is from Bergholt. In this interesting twist on the original story, he is hired by a rival assassin guild that wants Rothenheimer alive for financial and economical reasons, and is secretly searching for Markus, the GeisTot Assassin out to get Rothenheimer and his daughter. So, we have the whole assassin hunting assassin thing going on as well. Although the players know the truth, their characters do not, and they role play it to the hilt. Good times!
