This module is completely worth it, and will be a freaking blast to CK.

The Liber Mortis awaits...

Water ghouls!!

Yes, this looks to be a fun module to run. I'm thinking our group may get to this - when they level up just a bit more.

Slimy, are you going to use or offer the tarot deck?? I bought a deck last year after reading Sieg's article in the Crusader and now he's got it in this mod.

"With promises of power, the Liber Mortis brings only decay and death to it's user and those its incantations are use upon."

Muhahahahahahahaaaa . . . .

I wish I had one!

Oh powers that be...heavenly -or infernal, I'm not picky- bestow upone your loyal servant -again, not picky here- a deck o' taroty goodness...

No go, so I'll have to modify the chart for regular decks.

Again, what a great freakin' mod Rhu!

No need. Use the playing card column for the deck of many things (as mentioned in the mod) from the M&T (page 122). I can't recall if the Crusader article has the playing card chart as well.

Anyway ~ enjoy the module!!

Yeah, and be sure to let us know how it goes... I love hearing how people run the module and what works/doesn't!

The WotC Liber Mortis? If you want to buy it, I strongly suggest you save your money. There are very few useful things to use. Mostly, there are classes and PrC for undead (?!), some maps, and some background.

If you have some of the Van Richten guides, you already have all the necessary to run undead.

Or, Lords of Darkness (the FR supplement for AD&D 1e) is also a good choice.

I think he was referring to the book that appears in the adventure.

The characters in my campaign are currently on a quest to find the Liber Mortis, after which the druid that sent them on the quest will be taking it for "safe keeping" which will then lead to me running Verdant Rage. Or at least that's the plan.

However he is right. The only reason to buy Liber Mortis is if you run 3E. Otherwise use, or get and use, the old Ravenloft stuff.
