rising knight
Probably a dumb question that I overlooked. I am new to C&C and I have been reading rising knight. I am a little confused as to which road exactly is the Imperial Road. Is it marked on the map? am I blind? I read going east into the Fallow hills... is it the trail running east from malforten and then jutting up to a non labeled point?
Any help would be great.

The Imperial road is east of the Drunderry River and appears to run along the river mostly. It has been washed out in areas covered by sand or has been covered with overgrowth.
In my game, there was enough left that the PCs could follow it without checks up to Baleon Nakt and or the tower.
There are several paragraphs in the RN that cover this.

You're welcome. Hope your group enjoys the module.
And thank you for the question. It gave me a chance to thumb through the module again. I really like it. It was our first C&C experience back a few years ago.
Heh, one of the NPCs is still with us . . . Menlaus. Kiint was with us for some time when we traveled to Botkinburg. Due to his excellent work with the party and his meritorious efforts, his affliction was healed by Neegle the Witch. He returned to Malforten as a Steward of the Lands and took a wife.

nice story
Thanks good Sir.
Your NPCs in that mod were/are great. But Kiint really pulled at our (the PCs) heartstrings. They did good by helping him and now Kiint will have a good life.
In fact, Malforten is quite the town these days - doubled in size. The fighter PC in my group is building a mansion/country estate there for R&R between adventures (yeah, like that's gonna happen - heh, well maybe).
I should do a brief write up on Malforten in my campaign.

Ii is funny, you said in a previous post that Kliint had his affliction cured from a witch... We have a paladin in our group, so much for questing for rare components for the witch lol. Stupid cure disease...
It is funny though, our paladin is a player who usually plays neutral characters bordering evil. For the first time he's role-playing and not power gaming with wizards of the coast. I think I am a TLG-er. Now if only I can con my wife into letting me attend Troll con

heh, I'm a little slow on the uptake.
Baleon Nakt I was told was indicated as Baleon Hake. I realize now why I couldn't find it...
After talking to the Lammasu, he informs the party that they have to walk in a 150 mile line directly NW from Kuthrad Ondal.
Baleon Hake is 19 miles away from Kuthrad Ondal according to the map. I was thinking that the 150 miles should have been 15 miles to make the map correct. If you travel 150 mile NW you end up by Kruggles Lair.
I guess that is why I did not understand where the imperial road actually was. Is the tower really 150 miles away? or should it read 15 miles... just want the map to be right...

I don't know if there is an "official" map scale. I immediately bought into the "make it whatever scale you want" philosophy started in the Erde D20 Folio, so I just make things whatever scale fits what I want to do.
Like in my campaign the tower is 120 miles away.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
