I briefly looked at this - and could only see a descriptive element in a paragraph that may have referred not to Gristlebones, but to the mountain range or hill that he vacates (somethings about a steam release or vapor).

Or . . . the text was not entirely clear, but it may have been describing some section of GB that was rotting (and thus a steam release) - but I didn't gather that there was such a weapon or attack ability per se.

Can you give more particulars?

"Gristlebones will be inattentive at first, so his cloud of gas will not be expelled prior to the party seeing him."

My bad, a gas cloud of some sort that he could have unleashed if he knew the party was coming.

Is there stats for sentients somewhere in the CnC catalouge of products?

Monsters of Aihrde II PDF is at least one that I know of that has stats. I don't have it, so I don't know if the stats are for a generic sentient - as opposed to an old one like Gristlebones. But for a $1.00, it might be worthwhile for you.
