Killer Kobold Cave

As I promised B. Miller, here's my review of the first of his adventures, "Killer Kobold Cave".
(I started a new thread so that my review wouldn't get lost in the other thread...and maybe encourage others to give their PoV!)
Re: Killer Kobold Cave
On the whole, I liked it. It emphasized many of the aspects of the kobold that are too often missed by other adventures. Namely, their traps and ambushes. I especially liked the fleas problem and the nod to Raiders of the Lost Ark with the rolling boulder! BTW, the pit part w/rags was nasty!
If I had one complaint, it would be that the Boss kobold was a 7th level Fighter. Perhaps its my 1E AD&D sensibilities, but when a humanoid is able to go over 3-4th level in a PC class I get twitchy. It works, but personally for more of an Old School flavor Id probably have left the boss kobold at maybe 2 HD but pimped him out in magic armor/weapons and maybe a ring in his nose or something.
But thats the only quibble (and its minor). I look forward to checking out the other Killer Caves!
