Can you respond correctly to this Aihrde greeting?

"Are you equal to it?"

I am greater than it.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Nay, nay my friends. This is indeed a test. For if you lived in a certain part o' Aihrde, you would surely know the customary response to this greeting.

The answer bees within the pages o' the Codex...

Weird, must be buried somewhere else, because I found this and I figured it must be the right answer:

under the Gelderland entry:
They have a saying in the Gelderland, a greeting of sorts. “Are you equal to it?” one will say. “Slowly. Slowly,” is the response.*

It is curious that there is an asterisk after the sentence, but it apparently leads to nowhere else in the Gelderland section, hmmm.

I actually prefer this... from Edmund Burke:

"Are you equal to it? Do you feel yourself a man? If not, send messengers and dawks to me, and I, the great master tyrant, will come myself, and put to shame all the paltry delegate tools of
despotism, that have not edge enough to cut their way through and do the services I have ordained for them."
