Quicky Xmas Game (semi spoiler)

So, I invited my lady friend and her young folk over for Xmas yesterday, where the boy's were the happy recipients of a complete set of C&C books. Afterwards naught would do that they had to pester the old man here to run a game.
So I threw together an impromptu session of Rising Knight.
The three boys, who range between the ages of 9 and 17, put together an Elven Ranger, a Half elf/half orc druid and another elven druid/thief. All of first level
I took them through a few encounters to get them into the flavor of the game, all three have played D&D before, so it wasn't a big learning curve.
The long and the short of it is that they managed to get past encounters 1 and 6, but ended up pounded rather effectively at encounter 8 in the dungeons. Although the druid-thief managed to aquit himself better than the ranger vs a goblin encounter.
Funny how the dice can fall?
The sound thrashing at encounter 8, however, forced the half orcish-elfish druid to grab his two companions and run like a rabbit. Both the ranger and druid-thief ultimately ending up pincushioned by spears. Not dead, just close.
One thing I did note, however, even though I didn't take the party that far. There appears to be no encounter descriptions for the 2nd level of the dungeon.
So. Being inspired by the game I ran last night, I designed a new level and am in the process of designing a third level.
Expect to see these as an addendum to Rising Knight in the future. Also expect said dungeon levels to bump the difficulty of the module 2-3 levels.
