A friend of mine who writes for LA is running a 3 session adventure or so.

Chris Clark wrote more adventures for LA than just about anyone save Mr. Gygax.

I am playing Hamnar of Stridd agian and am more than a little giddy.

Checked with the wiferoni. She is gonna be setting things up in the new place, but said she will be home by 8 EST to watch Survivor, so I am free to game then.

If we can get 3-4 of our 6 players, game will be good to go. I'll log Skype on before hand for people to get ready. See you all then.

I cannot play tonight I have another game Iam promised to - Its the play test I mentioned earlier,

Thanks for playing guys. Outside Skype, was a good session. I am seeing parts of my House Rules that maybe creating some balancing issues, so play testing stuff helps iron those out.

I agree that experience is key to expanding ones experiences... I'll bet that our Experieced CK is enjoying our awaiting the experience of our last experienced filled gamming experience.... Ill bet he is gaining expereience as a New Dad ... Ill bet he is nearing level 2, there were some close momments there with the stinking cloud and the Acidic Vomit... but I believie that the charm effect of his insidious adversary has him deep in its clutches.....

LOL. You are all correct. This is the first time I have been online since our game. Boxes coming out of my ass. Didn't realize how much crap my wife and I have collected 6 years in that old place. At work here now grabbing some books for tonight. I hate to be 'that CK' that takes forever to post XP. I know when I play, I like to see it ASAP as well. Things will simmer down after Xmas and I will be so fast at it, I'll give ya the sessions XP before we even start, lol.

Anywho, myself and wife and baby are moving into the new place either Monday or Tuesday, so after that, and certainly before this Wednesday's game, I'll have loot and XP posted up.

Not sure Martin, if I will be able to make tomorrow's game. If I do, I can get the XP done whilst we play.

Rob since I have the ability to Confront Curses... I would like to approach the unknown items as if I were attempting to either battle a curse or dispel Magic without engae it in combat----

What do I sense from the robe and the Periapt

Hmmm. Martin, you sent me a pic with the Confront Magical Spirit from my last game, and we hashed it out to fit it to our game. I checked into my Shaman's handbook here (AD&D version) and I dont see these confront abilities that you have. Can you indicate where you took the writeup from, or if you created it to fit c&c, exactly what bits of info you used from which sources would be good. I have no idea what abilities you have now as a Shaman or what you may gain in time (as levels increase).

As for the items, all you know is that the Identify spell didn't indicate what the properties are of the robe and periapt. The only thing the elf discovered is that they have a strong aura.

Once I see the info on the Confront Curse Ability (You dont even know if it is cursed or not), you can give it a go in-game.

Sure no problem--- I converted the Shaman class from the 3rd edtuion class book by Green Ronin called the Shamans handbook---

Ill get you the info again in a pm my friend and Ill hold off on doing anything in game untill after you have had a chance to read it and settle into your new lair.

Shamans have access to several worlds - Specifically the World of Dreams - as a DM you can do what all you want with it or nothing at all.

Seems our game is falling on some holidays eve's this year. Next Wednesday is Xmas Eve and the following Wednesday will be New Years Eve. There will be no game during those days. I wont even try to rearrange on a different day over the holiday season as it will be too hard to arrange with everyone's schedule. So, tonight will be Game Session 5 and Session 6 will be on January 7th, 2009. You are getting closer to the 'drain' as Nerneth calls it. Assuming you continue roughly westward, you should make it to the Wild Magic Zone surrounding Drannor at the end of tonights game. See how things progress. If so, it will certainly set up a very exciting Session 6 in January as magicks get all fawked up

FYI, there was some issues with maptool last night in nwelte's game as I read from his thread, hopefully there wont be a problem with it. My house moving is all done, still got a billions boxes in the new place though, lol.

As a special treat, in honor of our game tonight, my wife is gonna put my d&d 'onesy' on the baby and take a picture. Very cool indeed

The MAptools problems were last week. The MAptools site and servers were down. They worked fine last night. So you guys should have no problems.
