Awesome session (says the guy who took 1 point of damage.) Great tactics.

I have to describe this one to you verbally. Nate outdid himself again.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

By the way, after the next two weekends, I should be done working on Sundays. Then I'll be back.

Knowing Nate and how much pleasure he gets from killing off my characters in unusual ways, I have no doubts that it will.

So, since we never speak with people we intend to kill, I am a little lost in terms of how we have "won" or almost won. I don't really feel like it's over until we've totally verified that this temple is dead or consecrated to St. Cuthbert.

And we still haven't really done anything with that riddle we got. The only line that makes sense is "Answerer, how do you answer" or whatever, since we have a sword of answering.

So, as keen as I am to move on to the I series, I am in favor of pushing through this until we hit a satisfactory denouement. Thoughts?

I agree, we finish clearing out the temple. The whole complex will make one hell of a wine cellar for our abode above. Plus us Clerical types can repurpose certain chambers to a shrine/temple area for our respective religions. With great wine cellars adjacent.

I am a bit unclear on this ending as well. Didn't we get strong indicators from somewhere that Zuggtmoy and or Iuz had to be defeated at the end?

I mean we could have just poisoned the temple's water supply and sorted this baby out in a long weekend! :lol:

Plus, where is my robe of the archmage?

Now we return to Hommlet and get kitted out in desert gear, then onto the land where the "lone and level sands stretch far away". And after that, giants and drow. Oh my

Well, I hope there will be a game. I should be able to make it this week. The "season" has ended and I should only be working Saturday nights until the hotel closes for a few months this winter.

Yeah, I was guessing that. Sounds like your having great family time, though. Thats what really matters.

I was really looking forward to getting back into the game, but since I'm still out of town myself and not sure exactly when I'm getting home, I guess it's a good thing. Have fun, Nate.

Nate, it looks as if I'm not quite finished working Sundays just yet. The people who I work for at the hotel, also have a haunted house attraction up in Erie and they want me to work there on the weekends doing security. I'll be working during most of the game and then it's a 40-45 min drive home. Sorry man.

Nate, sorry I'm going to have to drop out of this game. :(

Thanks for having me as a player, I've really enjoyed your game.

Good game last night.

There will be no game on October 27. I am out of town and will be taking my wife to a concert.

Couple of things:

1. Reminder - No game on the 27th.

2. Can I get updated character sheets from everyone? Remember everyone got hit with level drain last session. I handle level drain as follows:
a. Lose 1/2 HD worth of HP;
b. Adjust BTH and all ability;
c. Continue to advance to next exp level as if no level was lost.
d. When level restored, revers a and b.
Less book keeping.

3. Discussion was had about adding another player. I leave that to the group to discuss.
