I've actually ran the first two, so if you get through them by June, it should be no problem.

Oh, I just assume that you have played every module ever written. It will depend on how often Nate is absent, really.

*knocks three times and whispers, "Aramis sent me".*

Heya guys. I've actually been itching to get some gaming in. Lawd knows I should have popped back in earlier, what with that Polar Vortex and all. I've been locked up in my cabin knitting cat lingerie all winter.

I can play next Sunday. They have the nerve to go to a WWE event in New Orleans next week instead of gaming.

Huzzah!

There's the fellow we need.

Unfortunately, tonight was game night, so there still may be a wee wait. Perhaps Aergraith ( one of our excellent new members- ask him about Open/Close sometime) may be starting his campaign next Sunday.

If not, see you in two weeks for Nwelte's game: we are trapped on various elemental demi planes, Treebore has left temporarily, and Rigon was recently fatally farted out of the rear end of an air elemental. Needless to say we are in need of a brave fellow to lead us (and open all the doors that Nwelte has tricked out with various fiendish Nweltian devices)

I guess I should make a character in case we play this weekend. What's the party consist of now, aside from a flattened Rigon? I can make whatever type of character we need for a good load out.

Rare indeed is the party that has too many clerics.

Fulgrim is a human fighter, mainly an archer
Lorimar is an elf mage/rogue.
Hamish is a human ranger.
Terrwyn is a wet bag of human barbarian parts.
Jaster is a human Knight/Cleric, mostly knight, but Tree can't play anymore, so not sure what his status is. He is also hunted by a vengeful outsider terminator who isn't even satisfied with his death.

Cleric it is! Thanks for the line up. I hope my gods can hear me way out there in the desert. ;)

Groovy! Nate, I rolled up a 4th level dwarf cleric. I'll post the stats later, they're very middling.

Maybe since I keep losing fingers I should drop the bow and look for a manual of gainful exercise so I can actually tank as it were. Not that my stats are especially good for shootin' stuff either.

Heads up. I have a trial on Monday. There is a chance it will settle before the weekend, but as of this time I doubt it. As such, I anticipate I will be buried in my file on Sunday. If the case settles, game on. If it does not settle, be ready for the gap game. I will know more Friday evening.

Trial settled. Game on, unless you guys want to run the gap game. Let me know.

You settled just for us? I admire that level of dedication (I am sure the client feels likewise :-))

Let's finish off this temple and head for the desert

Yeah, we aren't running the gap game if there is no gap. Let's finish up the temple.

Just a heads up for next Sunday. I'm going to be on a business trip to San Antonio, but assuming there's no problem with the hotel wifi, I still plan on making the game. I'll test it all out when I check in on Saturday.

The Temple has been defeated!

Image

Zuggtmoy has been forever* banished! Rest easy, people of Greyhawk

All hail the conquering heroes!

Image

We lost a few along the way, but most were reincarnated as very useful badgers and carried on with the good fight, as only a true player would

Next- we face the desert, and then perhaps Giants, and Kuo Toans, and Drow? Oh my!

First time ever a supermodule ended, not with a climactic battle, but a series of questions from the players. The pen truly is mightier than the sword**

Keeping in mind that, according to the first post in this thread, this game has been going fairly regularly on a fortnightly basis since Jan 23 2011, that's a whole lot of temple delving (and subsequent badgerifications)

Thanks for the game Nwelte, now bring on the next challenge

*- and by forever, we mean 40 years -ish

**-especially when it is a +2 pen of sharpness***

***-count your fingers after each use!

And I only died once, and only lost 3 fingers, because only two of my ranged weapons exploded in my hands, and we only killed one of the two spiritual leaders of Hommlet.

I am so proud.

But on reflection, maybe all we had to do was kill the humanoids in the temple, and then lock the doors again. That seemed to last for a pretty long time.

Remember, in Nwelte's world, treasure is the 2nd most dangerous thing that can happen to a character (most dangerous is entering a room, at any time)

We may not have come out with much treasure that did not try to poison us, or make us save or die, or blow off our fingers, or chop off our arm at the shoulder, but we did get these nifty t-shirts
