Hey everyone I gotta cancel tonight. I was up all night with my girls, had a brutal day at work and can barely keep my eyes open right now. I was going to try to hang in there but its not happening. We can reschedule for some other time this week if that works for people.

Same here Marc. Jennifer is still sick and it was a rough night here last night. I would have posted before now, but just never had the time.

As for the rest of the week, I would like to play as Don mentioned. Whichever night you go with, I'll try and make it. Depends on how my little girl is feeling.

Sorry to hear you all are having as rough a week as I did last week. Hope it gets better for you.

I checked on skype last night to see if the game was on and only heard a few crickets sooooo figured you all had some real life issues going on.

If you all want to game later this week I'm in except for Sat night. Sunday I have the joy of a 14 hour drive back to Oklahoma. I'll be there all week and taking my last cert tests next Saturday. Because of that I'll be a no show for anything next week. Then after that I'll be good to go for a bit (unless I pick up some nasty bug in OK again this trip).

If the game is on this week drop me an e-mail/PM and I'll do my best to be there. If it falls through, hope you and yours all feel better over the next few weeks.

Well I have 2 new head sets and mics so my skype should work (I hope). That being said, I'll be there tonight.

Marc, believe me I understand about recovering kids and busy weeks, so no worries here on the reschedule.

Hay, I just had an idea, if Marc can show tonight I'd be willing to run a one off game tonight (to knock of the years of DMing rust).

If I run it, I'd be liberal with classes open to play (especially if someone wants to run a Pankrationist from my post a few years ago ) with multi classing and class & a half open. 6001 exp to play with, 1 free magic item and GP (go with what ever we had to start this game) to buy gear. L.S' rules for rolling attributes. The setting would be mountain foot hills and possibly a cave complex.

If that works for everyone, I'd say skype only (I don't have a good handle on maptools). For rolling, break out the old plastic dice. I'll verbally handle the map etc.

My one rule that breaks with the game thus far is critical hits/misses. a nat 20 gets max damage + what you roll. a nat 1 is simply loss of this action and going last on the next turn.

Oh yeah for spotting things it's a wis check without level added. However, for a thief to spot something a thief would normally look for (fat bag of gold hidden in a merchants cloak) he adds his level. Same for a druid or ranger to spot something in the forest. etc etc etc. Also, choice of primes can have benefits (a fighter with an int prime will have a chance to think up a good battle plan and get the party a +1 on attack rolls if the party follows the plan, etc)

I've been keeping an eye on the thread. Between vacation and spending a long Easter weekend with family, I really haven't been available over the past 3-4 weeks.
