I've just been informed we are being host for a "gathering". I hope I will not be needed to be involved in it, so I think I will still be able to play. If I do not show, its because I am somehow getting forced to be involved in it. Against my will. Hence, "forced".

Howdy guys! Just wanted to let you know that I'm headed to Dallas for the weekend. I should be on time for the game, but if I'm not there at go time, start without me.

Still on? I am sick, even have that weird named thing going on (Pleurisy?) where it hurts to breathe because my membranes are failing to be properly lubricated, so every breath hurts. However, since I am playing, and not running, and lots of talking is not required, I will try to play and see how it goes.

CZ Session XXI/II ~ “Oh, rats! Here comes Lilian and her pets!”.

After spending the night in the goblin stronghold, the players decide to move southwest in the directions that the barbarians early, had followed. The group defeated some fire beetles along the way and then encountered rats; large ones and lesser swarms of the regular sized critters. They also found and defeated, Lilian a wererat who had become a mother to all the rats.

They continued on and met Wily Wil, giant of the hill. He seemed to be a hill giant with perhaps less than average intelligence, but then he didn’t. The group realized this was a very clever humanoid who was attempting to hide his superior intellect, and at the same time – the PCs could see he was huge and strong leading them to wonder if he was a chieftain.

Wil sent the PCs on a special mission (uhhh, I forgot what is was - something about his gonads) and the group defeated the fierce giant wolverine!

End session.

XP = 927

The Players:

Aramis played the dwarven wizard/cleric known throughout the world as Snorri Ironbeard.
Aergraith as Darby of Scragwick human wizard.
Rigon was the fierce and noble warrior, Dhorric.
Treebore was Backar, the mighty half-giant knight.
Arrowhawk, as Bruno the brave half-giant fighter.
Jaybird is and will always be, Snizzlebottom, the most serious gnomish rogue/illusionist.

No worries. I've done it a few times in your game (I learned to take my meds later in the evening, so I don't pass out mid game!!). :D
