Heard from Don that he's been out due to relatives desiring to take his time. He will probably be out tonight too. With luck, that may not be the case, but we'll see.

I'm not sure if you all are still playing, if you are, and you have room for one more, let me introduce

Cyril son of Cyril of Conia called Cy Atalo (Cy the youthful) by his master and teacher, Leander. The oldest son of a minor branch of the family of Agiad. Thus making him a distant relative of Leonidas the king. Cyril’s closest kin are all involved in the fishing fleet but his father was politically active until recent events (aimed at undermining supporters of king Leonidas) ended his aspirations.

After Cy’s early years working in the family fishing fleet, he was called to be a priest of the twins (Adrius & Zernius) and joined the priestly collage. However, after only a few years Cy’s father was forced to leave Tagea and take a post as an inspector and marshal of the colonies in Gelderland. (A post that was underfunded, with little political power, and inherently dangerous due to the numerous monsters living in Gelderland the corruption of the local governors and the existence of the Crna Ruk in the area) Part of the political maneuvering that forced the move also forced Cy’s removal from the priestly college, despite the favor of the gods shown to Cy. While in Gelderland, Cy met and befriended Leander, the leader of his father’s body guards. Leander, a master of the art of pankration, quickly saw the potential in Cy and began to teach him the art of hand to hand fighting. However Cy did not completely give up the study of the myths and worship of the twins despite being removed from the college of priests.

After 5 years of acting at the inspector and marshal to the colonies, Cy’s father was again politically attacked and put up for ostracism However, with political help from Dorieus (Leonidas’s brother) and willing support from Cy, Cyril the elder’s name was changed to Cy Atalo. This forced Cy to leave the lands governed by the Tagean League for 10 years. Because of the exile Cy has been forced to take up the life of adventure.

Cy is of average height but of athletic build. Black hair and beard both cropped unfashionably short and brown/green eyes. Skin well tanned from years of working his father’s fishing boats, acting as a lightly armed scout in numerous skirmishes and battles and training in the art of pankration.

Dressed in lose breeches and tunic with a Tagean red cloak (magical cloak), well used but well cared for. He is armed only with a heavy dagger, throwing ax (3) and his primary weapon a set of magic (+1) Cestus.

Cy is well trained in hand to hand combat proficient in small and light weapons, good with fist elbow and knee but an expert in throws chokes and bars. Additionally Cy is an acolyte of Adrius & Zernius

6th level Pankrationest (monk) 3nd level cleric

I am eating at my mom's tonight, but will be open anytime the rest of the week and the following weeks.

Was talking to Slimy on the phone for a bit today.

He has parent teacher meetings on Tuesday so he will not be able to game tomorrow night.

However, seems my schedule has changed and I am able to play on Thursday.

Is Thursday or Friday any good for any of you? Post if you can or can't play on either or which day is best for you.....

Be good to play with you all again, been to long.....

If you all still have room, I'd love to play (got a class & half monk Cleric for you). However, it's my Mom's b-day this Thursday, so I'll have to start next week.

Can we get a coalition around Friday? (I'll have a hard time limit of about 3 hours)

Is there a game this week, and do you all still have room for 1 more around the ole maptool table? If so, I'd love to jump in!

Guys, if there was a game tonight & I missed it, I'm sorry. I finally got some real good news on the job/pay front (I got picked up for close to real teacher's pay instead of unskilled support & teacher's assistant pay) and had to take the family out for a celebratory dinner and post dinner ice cream. With that, I just got back, have to help give the little ones a bath, get ready for bed, etc etc etc.

I'll be here next week, to play.

The fates are just stacked against me playing ...

I just got a call from an older gentleman from my church. Some of his pigs got in a fight and are cut up fairly badly. He was planning on butchering them over the next few months, so doesn't want to call a vet to patch them up. With that, he needs help this evening butchering them up. Soooooo I'll be busy tonight and not able to show for the game.

The good news is, I'll have the freshest pork chops you can imagine for dinner, and some good home grown breakfast sausage. I'll think about you all while I'm chowing down tonight! ;)

If there is a game Thursday, or next week, I'll be there (pending any acts of the fates)
