The Ring (Galdor vers Jarle) 6:00 PM Mtn time -this Tues

Post by slimykuotoan »

The setting: a maptools terrain as yet to be announced

The goal: destroy your adversary

The rules: players will each create a character of a preannounced level using the PHB, start at either end of the game map, then battle to the finish under the supervision of an experienced CK, all under the gaze of adoring fellow gamers... and all in good fun. A winner is declared when the other character yields, or is defeated.

The above said...

Do you have what it takes to enter The Ring?

K- roll up a 3rd level character, and post stats plus a pic.

Once we have two, we're set.

The first to enter The Ring step forward, under the watchful eyes of the gods...

Those among you with the fortitude to view this test of skill, speak yee now, so that a place at arena side may be set aside for thee.

Once characters -and pics- are posted, we can set a time. :)

Quick question Slimy. Are you going with the default attribute mods from just phb or ckg as well; and if so, which method.

Hey slimy.

How do you handle expert weapons and armor? I know there is some verbiage in the PH, but I usually don't allow expert weapons for starting chars even if they are 3rd level.

L.S. has already tried to slip them into my game!!

The PH is not clear on expert armor cost, although I realized some CKs infer the 10 times - based on the weapon cost.

Nice!

Rhuvein, we'll have to go btb for everything, so if there's no price in the PHB, we'll have to say they're unavailable.

Looks like we're set to go, so let's set a time!

I can do this Tues, at 6:00ish Mountain time (just before my regular game) or...

Excellent!

Is 6 PM mountain time, 7 PM central then? I have Tree's game at 8 PM central.

So, if so - then I'm good. I figure it will take me about 15 minutes to kill girly Galdor the girly elf maid!

HA. I got some tricks up my girly sleeves :)

Shouldn't take me too long to take out that pesky little dwarf!!!

As you know Slimy, I don't log onto SKYPE until my little one goes to sleep. Usually around game time, but I'll try and log on 30 min early. Its a crap shoot....

And only 13 hp Rhu, your toast :)
