Players needed

Due to some unforseen conflicts with time, we've had a couple of players drop out of our Tuesday night game. Treebore asked me to post a request for players. We game every Tuesday night starting at 9pm EST and play for 3 hours (give or take). Most sessions end by midnight EST since the eastcoasters have to work. We are playing classic modules. If anyone is interested, let me know. We only ask that you be consistant in showing up.

Rats - I've committed to Vinnie's Ravenloft game which is every other Tuesday (though I haven't managed to make it yet) and am about to be out of town a fair bit from mid-November to mid-December. :(

You still looking? I have a new job now that is less demanding and I have time to pick up gaming again (sorry I kinda disappeared last time).

As far as I know we are. Tree will be out of town for a week or so. I'll email him and get back to you.

Did you hear anything back? Should I be making a character? If so, what is needed in the party?

The DM is away right now, plus he does not post here. I am not sure if he will be DMing this Tuesday. If not, we do sometimes manage to put together a back up game.

In the main campaign, we just finished the Gygax module Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth and have moved on to the sequel, Temple of Tharizdun. We plan to follow that up with the Slavelords series.

The party is (I think) 1 ranger type, 1 cleric, 1 ranger/rogue, and one loveable rascal of a halfling wizard/druid who claims he was once a bear ;)

So, should I roll up a Paladin or a Fighter to round out the party just in case? I don't want to butt in, but I want to be prepared in case this works out :)

Roll one up. It never hurts to have a character handy.

Play what you want to play, whatever you think would be the most fun to play.

Having said that, a front line fighter would definitely hit the spot ;)

I think we are 9th level. Stat generation is usually fairly liberal (an 18 or two, some 14s etc.). We are trying to fit the characters into the modules, so we level as slowly or quickly as the next cool old school module requires, rather than from actual killing of monsters and taking their stuff

Might as well pick out some magic items as well and then add or subtract from that list when Treebore (the DM) gets a look at it. Nothing radical, maybe +2 weapon, +2 armor, magic shield, a couple of cool miscellaneous items, some potions.

Tree got back to me on the google group thingy. He indicated that we are on for this Tueaday (11/8/11) and will be talking about somethings. We start at 9 pm EST. Be on Skype around then and we'll see where we go from there.
