The Tuesday Wilderlands Gamers summit has concluded. The communique follows:

1- We are moving to Mondays 9pm-12am EST, thus returning our name to the Original Monday Night Awesome Society. Hopefully, this will allow some of our fallen comrades to rejoin the game...as zombies

2- When Treebore can't run the main campaign, Nwelte will try to run a back up game. However, Nwelte will be late for 1/4 of the sessions, so in those cases, Rigon will run his favorite game

3-healing potions will henceforth be called Jamesons

Sorry for the short notice, but I'm not going to make it tonight. I'm exhausted from spend 12 hours in the woods in the pouring rain looking for Bambi's mom or dad to invite to come stay on my freezer. Can you guys let Tree know. Thanks.

I assume Tree is running is game tonight. I have a City Council meeting and expect it to take awhile. I will join the game as soon as I get home. My being late should not stall the game. I believe my character dies at the end of last session anyways. I don't remember getting raised.

Tree is searching for his lost pup . . game may be cancelled.

But Nate may be able to run something for us . . although he may be delayed in starting.

Will post, when news arrives.

Hey all.

I've already mentioned to Tree that I won't be able to game tonight - have to work.

I'll put the server up shortly and post the campaign file in SKYPE just in case my compy has any issues.

Have a great session and use my char boldly!

Pass = player

As discussed, the DM wants to switch to another game for a break.

The choices were as follows (I believe):

1) Wild West with Aces and Eights

2) Sci Fi with Traveller

3) Solomon Kane - Alternate 17th C with magic and monsters

My preference would probably be for Solomon Kane (that game has interested me for awhile), then western (those are always fun), and sci fi last (mostly because those games get a bit too crunchy). However, I fear the Solomon Kane stuff will be too similar to fantasy gaming, which is what the DM wants to take a break from.

I think all three could provide some good fun, so any of the three could work fine for a month or two.

However, my main preference is that whichever flavour we try, we run it like C&C (i.e. intricate rulebook knowledge not required). Games that have elaborate character build systems, elaborate magic systems, elaborate combat maneuvers etc etc. do not work when most people do not have the rules and don't want to get bogged down in all that enjoyment-diminishing nonsense.

Post your preferences here

I think Treebore mentioned he would probably not be able to DM today. I am not sure if his schedule has changed in the interim, or if Nwelte is planning on running the back up game in the Tomb of Horrors as an alternative

I'm game to game.

But, I think he would run the "Fingers" module, no?

No probs, Rhu.

We saw you posting on the troll lord forums while we were on line so we were saying "Hey Rhu, over here!" to our computer screens, but you didn't hear us .

Rigon had us wander further up the desert trail. We ran into some kind of dragon. I don't mind telling you things were looking pretty hairy until Arrowhawk and I got the bright idea to run like hell while the dragon was fricaseeing Rhuvein's and Nwete's characters!
