If any of you have seen anything that goes into more detail about advantage/disadvantage, please show it to me. As it is it looks like I was giving it far too often. Especially to the PC's. Most of the time the Kobolds had it due to their rules.

The only thing I have found so far is in the "How to Play" document from the playtest package. Searching online has only found a seemingly endless amount of blogs of people's opinions on the mechanic. I'll try to keep looking.

Yeah, its reading through those documents that is making me think I was too generous with them. In particular when I was giving advantage to those firing a bow. Advantage/Disadvantage seems to be given only when the rules specify or in "exceptional" situations the rules do not cover. Just standing there shooting arrows at a distant target doesn't count, unless you go beyond "normal" range, then disadvantage applies to long range shots.

I am having to do some last minute "cram" training with the veteran since he is leaving tomorrow. He finally decided on 6 tasks he would like us to teach him to teach his dog. I think I will make it in time, but I have NOT had time to read over the new download, so if I do make it, we will play with the same DL as last time.

I tried using the link you posted in this thread to the other one but I get this message: Not Authorized (Incorrect Campaign ID or Access Token)

To see notifications I just go to the main Roll 20 page and click on the campaign I want to see the messages for. There is also a reddish/pink icon in the toolbar above and to the right that has the number of messages your games have in it. Click on that works too.

I didn't notice that before, cool now I know where to look thanks.

Bad news. You know that flu going around hospitalizing so many people? Yeah, I have it. Haven't been hospitalized as of yet, but I can barely talk and having trouble breathing. Hopefully I will be not only alive, but recovered enough to run this next week.

Hey Tree, my wife just started a new job with a real estate agent and Thursday nights are when they do their staging of houses for the weekend. I'm ok for the Monday games but will have to drop out of the Thursday game. Sorry.

Game tonight as long as nothing crazy happens.

I don't know if the game was run on the 24th, my wife unexpectedly gave birth that night. The delivery was unexpected, not the child.

No one showed, so i have officially cancelled this game. I consider it all my fault due to missing so often due to travelling and illness.

Bummer. Thanks for running it, I enjoyed gaming with everyone. I will sit at your virtual table anytime.
