I'm mending, just oh so frikking slowly. I am hoping only another week or two. Only. After 6 weeks of this crap.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Good to know.

As far as I know, there should be no reason for me to cancel this coming week. Hope most of you can make it.

I did a quick look through of classes. It looks like everyone but the cleric will get levels (he is already 6th level).

Lupa 6th level swashbuckler (new)
Sorely 6th level cleric (current)
Barlieg 6th level barbarian (new)
Aeschalon 5th fighter/5th wizard (both new)
Valrune 5th druid/6th rogue (both new)
Sarosis 6th level ranger (new)

Sweet! Nice magic weapon swag as well. We need to take a look at what we've picked up the last few sessions and see what fits best. Are we rolling for HP at the next game?

I take it that it was a good game ..... what did I miss ????

Believe me, I would have much rather been home to game than go to the training .... complete waste of time. But now the guys in the field can't say they haven't had the training, and us in my office was able to show them why we have to kick their stuff out of the computer and handle it the old way ...

Hope someone was able to roll high on the cleric's turn rolls and of course hope Lupa looked cooler than the Barbarian!

Well, first they finished off the stone golem, then an iron golem came out and Valrune took it down. They then tried to use stone shape to make a passage past the gate. But that collapsed the wall. They went looking for a key to the other gate and used very good tactics to destroy all of the undead in the 4 mausoleums. Where they found a buncj of majic items, gold pieces, and something that might act like a key. I was rolling for the cleric and he was off the charts good.

Since he was given time, lots of time, and the ability to concentrate, Valrune simply brought on the awesome, to the point where he brought down the roof! The Cleric turning a few undead here and there definitely reduced the headaches. The bow and melee types being able to take down those unique undead also greatly reduced headaches, and greatly increased Valrune's ability to concentrate.

rgr that, and it was doubly fun with it NOT being Lupa failing a fear save and running from the fight!

I was glad I failed that fear save since I was thinking it was a Death Knight.

The Skeleton Warrior was tough enough. That fear effect was potent. Not sure how much damage they cause (it's been awhile since I've cracked open the Fiend Folio), but we weren't too far away from a one on one fight. Thank goodness for Lupa's standing full twisting back flip up onto the dais...

It is important to not only win the fight, but you have to also look cool doing so !

I think that finally made up for the first fight that the barbarian leapt off the 2nd floor and landed in the middle of the goblins and I tripped on my landing back when we were 1st level ...

That said, I was worried when one after the other most failed the save and ran away ...

Now , What Sorley spent the 2 weeks in town doing -

Flamed weapon (modified flame blade)
2nd level cleric spell.
Duration 4 rounds +1 every 2 levels
No save

Encases the weapon the cleric enspells’s in a holy flame that enhances the cleric’s melee weapon (regular to hit etc) When the attack is successful, normal damage for the weapon is rolled and it is enhanced with +4 damage from the holy fire. If used against an undead creature, or one with a venerability to fire the damage is increased by 2 – +6 – but if used against water based creatures or creatures that are resistant to fire the damage is reduced by 2 -+2 only - , The spell has no effect if used under water of against creatures that are ‘fire dwellers’.

Only a master work weapon or magical weapon is guaranteed safe from the effects of this spell. However, if the spell is cast on a standard weapon, the item may be damaged or destroyed after the duration of the spell is over. A save vs spell is required for any such weapon. If failed the weapon is damaged – if metal the tempering is effected and must be repaired by a black smith, if wood the weapon is charred and weakened and not repairable.

When cast on arrows or other small missile weapons, the spell will enhance 4 + 1 for every 2 levels just like the duration of the spell

My first ever spell modified for C&C

Not only is it a cleric Spell - it was oked for druids too
