I should be good to go tonight, but the Mrs. out her back out today, so maybe have to take care of her. If I'm not on by 930 my time, assume I'm not able to run the game.

Back in AZ!

This is the house we are buying, its the left one of the two...

Here.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Sorry everyone for having to bail last night. Not only did the Mrs. put her back out, she tweaked some ribs also. She said she wanted to throw up every time she moved. And she can't get to the chiropractor until Friday afternoon.

Thanks guys! Yeah, it has some pretty minor cosmetic issues and needs a thorough cleaning, plus we are going to update the kitchen, but as a foreclosure short sale we got a really great price. We figure after between 20 to 30,000 in fixes, cleaning, and kitchen upgrades, AND making the basement a "finished" space, this 100+ year old house will be pretty much like new again. Plus its location is pretty darn good. Within walking distance to the city's major park, which includes the zoo, etc... Not to mention all the various stores that are even closer. We are very glad we got this one.

Rigon, it sounds to me like your wife should just go to the emergency room with that level of pain and discomfort.

Maybe I'll suggest that. At least they could give her something for the pain.

It definitely helped us like it, but the price versus condition of the house is what really won us over.

Welllll it isn't a castle, but I bet you could fit a good Roman Ballista in the turret ;)

Glad you found a good old one you could afford and in a good area.

As a reminder, I will be out of the pocket on the 22nd, so will miss the A&8 game. I should be back for the following week's Kalamar game (pending good travel plans etc etc etc).

I have back (and other pain) all the time so know how it sucks, and how bad it is when it goes out completely on you. So, if she isn't better by now she needs to see a doc asap. If she is better (at least functioning) then do the normal tens heat cold elevate and round it off with a chiro appointment when possible. But, don't wait if it has her flat of her back (no pun intended after re reading it). Pain is horiable to try and get in front of so jet it blunted ASAP.

It's mostly in her middle upper back and it wouldn't be so bad if her allergies weren't going nuts today. She can move around if she is careful and slow about it, but the sneezing is causing her a lot of pain. A coworker suggested that new allergy med Xyzel. I got her some and she is trying to sleep.

She probably should just go to the ER, or try to get a same day visit to a doctor (Cheaper co pay than ER) and get some pain meds. All she is likely doing right now is making everything tighten up even worse. All I would have to do is call my VA Doc's office, get connected to her nurse, and tell them what is going on, and then go pick up the script at the local Wal MArt.

Ohhhhh I know how that is ! One of the main decision factors for when I decided to retire from the AF was one morning I was driving to PT. I sneezed, felt something pop/crunch in my neck & R Shoulder, and my arm dropped completely numb ... took it almost an hour before I could move it again.

Even now, after years of not jumping and further hurting myself, I still dread a good hard sneeze because it could put my back, neck, shoulder or all of them out and have me down for a good 2 - 3 days.

Yeah I can understand her pain!

Your new/old characer joined us, you were given a Wand of Fireballs (20+ charges, as K for specifics), and a magic evil cloak to destroy, since that is part of your clerics faith.

Fun time last night, at least what little I could hear with my the cruddy internet and my wife eating up most of the bad width downloading all the vacation pics ...

Liked us having to figure out which route to the city would be best , do we go to one of the port cities - slave traders, pirates, or hobgoblin strongholds all, or cross the tall mountains and risk goblins, mountain monsters and giants ????

As long as we don't attract a dragon on the crossing, the mountains should have been the better choice so everyone bundle up and get ready for mountain passes.

Bundle up? I just cast a certain 0 level spell on myself every day, so never worry about the temperatures. I just need an oil slicked over coat to protect me and my gear from the wetness.

So, which is it, wand of fireballs or magic missiles? :)

About this evil cloak, what does it look like, how and where was it found?
