Great game last night.

Some real cool additions to our magic weapons!

Now I just need something to help me keep from rolling a 1 on saves against fear or command 'flee' spells !

I almost feel bad, I feel like I got the best stuff. Of course, I am always one hit away from the party getting all of it. I wondered if the Banded Mail was there because I forgot to list my own among my assets. Oops.

The banded mail is in the adventure. I don't usually place things for specific characters.

Oh, you do have some cool stuff with the ring & the bane sword. However, I figured it out in the last game. With that ring, you should always be first into an area that is more likely than not an ambush. With that ring, every first shot at you will miss, then we can fire back, and you are closer to charge with bane.

Soooooo, you are saying that I'll never 'find' that magic +2 or above breast plate I need. Ok, how to you commission magic armor (as I tally up my portion of the gold silver and gems .... ;)

Just as an FYI, I'm switching to MapTool 1.4.0. I use it for Nate's game and it seems to be quite stable. That way I don't need to have multiple version.

I have it installed. Seems to launch fine, without a server connection. We'll see how it goes at game time. Which I may or may not be in time for, we are going out for dinner tonight, so I may be late getting back for the game,
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Hey guys, sorry for the short notice, but I didn't realize I had to be at a school function tonight. Not sure how long it will take, but I'm hoping to be home and online by 10. Just check and if I'm not on by 1030 or don't post anything by then assume we are not playing.

Again, sorry.

Oh, I thought that we had 1 more week of tree's game.

However, like I posted in that thread, I won't be here tomorrow night. I'll be firing off fireworks with cousins etc.

Have a good 4th.

If you do game, play Lupa as needed, and remember at least once a game he had to do something to look more cool than the barbarian!

Actually, I was hoping to not have to cancel by pushing back an hour, but it looks like I'm not going to be able to run the game tonight. Sorry guys.

That ended up being fine for me. I thought the extra hour would be plenty of extra time for me, but it ended up being two. So I wouldn't have made it anyways.

I guess I wasn't the only one out shooting fireworks and eating bbq (well smoked ribs and chicken, so not actually bbq. & yes the ribs were good if I do say so my self) instead of gaming.

I hope you had as good a night as I did.

I was so wiped from the weekend and the Mrs was coming home from being away all weekend. I just chilled and watched the Force Awakens again. This time with an eye toward gaming.

Cool, look forward to you picking up the star wars star siege torch we had smoldering a few months back! ;)

That said, I look forward to the movie coming out this Christmas. I think it will be a gold mine for gaming ideas! When I take the girls to see it, I'll take notes for you to use in your campaign you'll be running for us !!!!

I'm in the process of adapting the Victorious rules for SW. I like SS, but I think the rules need more polish. Also, V uses a class and skill system that I think will work great with a few tweaks. A lot less than SS.

You know I've always liked the idea of SS for Star Wars, but I agree too that it needs a bit more than a minor adjustment and polish . To me it would be worth if for a years long campaign or series of campaigns. However, I doubt we put that much play time into it, so not worth the work.

As for V, I've never played it (as you all well know), but everyone says it will easily fit, so I can't argue against it. Also, I do look forward to giving it a try.

Also, like I said in the SS thread we had going, I can't put time into running a game, but if you need help with something like a race write up etc etc etc, bump it my way & I'll help where I can.

Now for the important subject at hand, Lupa & Dardo and how much more cool he is than the Barbarian ... ;)

I'm planning on running the game, however, Mary is out of town tonight and won't be back until tomorrow evening sometime. I may have to suspend the game at some point and talk with her. I'm hoping she is home by the time I get back from work, so I take care of her before the game starts.
