We definitely want the ranger to have a good AC. Keeping the front line alive and happy makes for a happy (and alive) wizard.

I propose the following. After we escape the clutches of this cultist deathtrap, we make for the forest of the elves, where my fair sister led that train of rescued elven maidens to be returned to their families.

While there, Aeschelon will request an audience with the king. The arcane archer will call upon all of his powers of persuasion, as well as the wit and wisdom of his player

After that fails miserably, we will point out to the king that we have performed a great service for his people. In return, we humbly request that he ask his finest armorer to craft a suit of finest elven chain, to be bestowed upon the honorable ranger.

Of course, we understand that such a gift may require that said ranger take the hand of a princess in marriage, or slay an ogre (or perhaps slay a princess and marry an ogre- we elves are whimsical like that) but even this offer we shall accept.

Then we head to the egg of phoenix module and do what we do best (muck up a classic module)
