Kayo, in reviewing my char sheet - I see I forgot to choose a 1st level bonus spell due to my WIS att. So, I'll add Shield of Faith for now.
Will probably change spells next time we rest in game.

Not sure. The wife is talking about gaming with her . . Yahtzee, Cribbage or Scabble!
Btw, Kayo - what happened to your metal thread. I was just about to turn on my speakers and give a listen.
The band reminded of Uriah Heep's album called Demons & Wizards. I also have a Wishbone Ash Warriors song to post!
I'll post later as to whether or not I can make it.

That's weird, it disappeared, trying it again.
Edit: it's back!

Another fun session. We got a lot done last night and had a few very close calls. Glad to have Smoke back among the living. It was unfortunate that the +4 armour we found could only be worn by a dwarf and we had none in the party at the time. Fortunately we were able to trade it for some magic beans
Good stuff Kayolan. We will conquer that small yellow square on your map, oh yes!

Smoke was able to figure out how they work with a bit of Identify spellcraft:
"The tree is the near-mythical golden apple tree. It bears fruit that is solid gold. In each apple are 6 seeds. Each seed has a 1 in 4 chance of growing into a golden apple tree that will produce 4 apples every year for 20 years after first reaching an age of 20 years. These apples however will not have seeds; only the last apples produced by a dying tree have seeds."

Aethelrand's new magic long sword +1 (information courtesy of Smoke's Identification... and a gold ingot):
SYRAR'S SILVER SWORD
This +1 silver weapon employs a combination of spells devised by the archmage Syrar. These magics allow the blade to breach
the barriers between planes in much the same manner as a Cockatrice and similar creatures do. Thus, it can strike targets
on the astral and ethereal planes which are susceptible to magical weapon attacks.
Anyone holding the sword can see into either the astral or ethereal plane (one at a time) at will, viewing a spherical area with
a 30' radius centered on the tip of the drawn blade. The user need not employ the sword offensively in order to be able to use
the viewing power; thus, clerics and wizards can make use of this ability of the sword. However, such viewing can only be
maintained for a number of turns equal to the holder’s Intelligence, plus 1-4 additional turns, and the viewing ability only
functions once per day, regardless of the length of time each viewing is sustained.
Only the sword itself, and never any part of its wielder, any other physical object or form of attack or spell, can reach into
the other planes. To creatures residing on the other planes, the weapon is clearly visible whenever drawn, and its bearer appears
as a shadowy, indistinct figure which they may reach through the planes to attack, but at -2 to hit.
The viewing ability also works for users on the astral and ethereal planes with respect to their ability to see into the prime
material.

After thoughtful consideration, I've decided to not use Aihrde as a fantasy world setting for the campaign from this point onward. I've tried it and gave it a good go, but frankly it doesn't resonate with me the way it should. I've decided to go back to Greyhawk for all future games, I feel that I have more breathing room and I just damned well like this setting more than Aihrde. I hope I don't lose any players or future players because of this choice.

Heh, I didn't even know or realize you were using Aihrde. Greyhawk is fine. As a player, I'm less concerned about campaign world as I am concerned about the module being used.
I haven't been very thrilled with about this module, but Kayo - it's not because of you. You are a great CK and thus have probably done more for this module than the author did in creating it. You mentioned it briefly in game, and I have no idea who the author is . . but it's lacking in presentation and excitement.
Anyway, all that said - I'm fine with my character and continuing.
