Janra cures you of disease after accepting the large donation you and your fellow party members made to the temple in Landan's name.

Heh, I'm hoping to run a game on Sunday nights opposite Nate's game ~ so I'm going to hold off on any other gaming for now. If there is no interest in me running a game, then I may be available in the future.
Enjoy!

That really was amazing. We did an entire dungeon containing 23 opponents with just three PCs (+ Buttercup

). And it all started with those two sniped arrow shots from the woods into the two front door guardians. Boom! Head shot. Boom! Head shot.
Great fun, guys

Great stuff. What I liked this session was the way Kayolan wove a little mini story into the encounter. It's not just an ogre with some goblins. It's a boastful ogre, who's eating some of the mysterious creatures we seek. Maybe he has valuable information, we think (but then killed him before we could find out

). Or the dying dryad as the initiator of the quest. It's those touches which really brings alive a hex crawling session...plus more frogs!
That map is really starting to open up. Next stop, Aufsfrag

Two things we will be doing next, initiative btb and encumbrance btb.

This should be interesting. I haven't done encumbrance since the 1st print and then after they made some adjustments, so I look forward to having another look at this.

Oh, btw Kayolan ~ which PH encumbrance rules. It looks like the EVs are the same from 1st print to 5th, but somewhere along the way ~ TLG improved the rules on this, so I assume one of the later books is OK.
Thanks.

Actually, I'm using the 3rd printing phb for this game. Not sure if that is different than the 1st or 2nd printing.
