K, thanks. I was only looking to see if you preferred one of them over the other.Gringnr wrote:I will have to checkRhuvein wrote:Penny/Aergraith/Gringnr:

edit: nah, neither
Rhuvein wrote:Sorry for the late notice, Penny ~ game cancelled for tonight.
Gringnr thought he might be a little late and I figured you and me could wait for him to start the game (usually not a problem at all), but tonight I ran outta gas. Probably because I was cooking all day and then ate too much for dinner (moussaka - yummy). Oh and the weather went from 35 (night before last) to 75 today and warmed up the house . . blah, blah, blah.
I had hoped I would get a second wind to game and/or chat about the game with regard to what we were going to do.
Since I hadn't heard from anyone about which void to use, I was going to just run the next part of this adventure and then double-back to the side task of finding Thurgood.
But we can continue to discuss.
So anyway, everyone have a great evening and we'll see y'all in two weeks right here!

Oh, cool. Lemeno what you and Penny think. I'll try to send Gringnr some basic info from the Player's Compendium.Aergraith wrote:I have Tainted Lands.Rhuvein wrote:K, thanks. Certain I will like it but I have no prior knowledge. Is the city inhabited? Can you spill any details?Rhuvein wrote:So, the void/plane will be The Lost City of Gaxmoor!
An ancient city that seemingly disappears so many years ago, suddenly presents itself in a valley atop a ridge plateau. Covered in mist - but it does attract the many and the few, both good and evil.
Lotsa great stuff in this module/adventure/campaign. I think y'all will be pleased with it.
Tis an ancient Rome/Greece style city, but with all the coolness of what D&D can and could do with it - as presented by Gary's kids!
Hope you like it!
Heh, the PCs only know that there is an old legend about a city that disappeared hundreds of years ago.Penny-Whistle wrote:Certain I will like it but I have no prior knowledge. Is the city inhabited? Can you spill any details?
Yes, it's a great job by Jason Walton who did the original cover art and did the new cover art for the 7th print C&C PHB.Penny-Whistle wrote:That's beautiful
Dagnabit. i wish I would have posted what I just thought . . the city is filled with gnome druids, goblins and kobolds (33 1/2 percent per creature)! Good luck!!Penny-Whistle wrote:Certain I will like it but I have no prior knowledge. Is the city inhabited? Clerics of Mithril seek treasure above all else, but are of good alignment and do have priorities beyond aqusition of precious metals and gems. Because they seek these things incessantly, however, they are often viewed as greedy and conniving, and their kindness will often be viewed with skepticism.Dwarves take a great deal of time thinking about dragons and vast treasures. Eventually all of that speculation turned into a dwarven god that was a dragon concerned with treasure. Mithril, the dragon, is made out of the precious metal and is the example for all good dwarves in collecting and hoarding huge amounts of treasure. When dwarves sacrifice to Mithril, they see their gold and gems vanish and know that the sacrifice is in a place no rogue or giant can ever find. This gives the worshiper great satisfaction. Dwarves are encouraged to fabricate difficult-to-open strongboxes and complex and massive vaults to store their treasures. Even the pouches and backpacks they use are supposed to have traps to stop thefts.

After rolling 4d6 and re-rolling 1s ~ did you end up with 4 d2s and then dropping one, you finished with a total of six for one attribute??
Ah got it.Rhuvein wrote:Also, a monk cannot wear armor. That said, I'm going to house rule that she/he can choose padded armor or a leather coat/vest (+1).
So, 2nd lvl AC is 12. Add DEX(+1) and armor (+1) for a total of 14!
Please feel free to choose one or more deities!
Hey Penny, if you still plan to use this char - could you make her 2nd lvl please.Penny-Whistle wrote:Pickle, Druid Gnome (level 3) neutral
