Sorry myself for dropping

Yet again, internet problems … I can understand it if it is the middle of a storm, snow is flying, ice falling, or winds blowing heavily (which is common here in NE Ok). However, on a clear calm night …. there is no excuse for it except the provider is poop and knows they can be and can stay poop because no one is giving them any competition.

I'll be soooooo glad when I can build a new house on my lake plots and have access to real internet support, or buy a new house somewhere that doesn't flood multiple times a year and has better service !

Hey all, I have a thing at the school until late tonight, so I am not going to be able to make it. Probably next Monday too.

Wow this just has not been my week for coms

The problem at home is annoying enough, but since late Monday afternoon my work coms have been poop too.

Fire wall issues between my state system and the federal system, were the start, but now today, my work cell and hotspot to get internet access at my remote stops has been no joy on connectivity …. every once in a while I'll get access for 5 - 10 min (so I have had time to vent here), but most of the time nothing ….

Hope at least my home connection will be better by Monday !

You should go to your internet provider's location and tell them that if you were half the man you were 5 years ago, you'd take a flame thrower to their place. ;)

Rgr that, flame thrower, explosives, in the right conditions a long stick up to 300 to 400 yards. Now though, just angry thoughts :( ;)

Not sure if anyone is planning on playing tonight. However, Saturday, my knee and ankle popped on me, So yesterday and today I've been limping around like the old broke man I am and today my back has been hurting worse and worse … I'll probably take some ranger candy and go to sleep as early as possible

Sorry

Rgr thanks
I did go to sleep earlier than normal, but I can't say I got more rest. Not sure if it was the pain or if it was that I got news that one of the young guys I trained before I retired just had some major health issues. Which ever it was, lots of bad Chi bubbled up all night so not a lot of good sleep
Oh well

Hopefully we are all able to game next week. I'm starting to go through withdrawals !

I've been thinking (& yes that is dangerous), when we play you all are always a small group - 3 to 4 at best - and even trying to keep the horror theme and keep you a little less effective or have stronger opponents for you than a normal game, you all are severely hampered by the group size.

With that, I would allow you all to choose an extra benefit for your characters.

I was thinking a general power / class ability - Animal handling for Mr Blue with his rural/slave back ground & it would replace Colton's similar skill

Or an additional prime - someone taking CHA to help you all have a face man in almost all the times we play.

Or for the witch hunter, lower your exp requirement down to that of the Raider class, so you aren't lagging further behind on your class increases.

Those are just examples, so if there is anything you would prefer, let me know.

A lower XP cost would be nice, but I'll have to look and see if there is anything else I'd like first before I commit.

Of course, those were only ideas off the top of my head, so anything any of you all can think of is possible.

Horror is always tricky. You want to make the encounters dangerous but you don't want a body count either. What kind of opponents do you want to use?

The "Big" fundraiser is over. My life, in theory, should return to normal until production week 9The first full week in May).

So, barring anything coming up suddenly, I should be making games more regularly again.

I'm actually going to crash early tonight. The PA governor recommended shutting down all restaurants and bars at midnight tonight. People panic shopped. We were busy as all get out. I'm exhausted. And I get to go back and do it all over again tomorrow.

So today I had my fun … Oklahoma City leadership decided to start the day with me having to work out of my local Work Force office for the foreseeable future, then at noon they decided I had to work from home. So I had the joy of driving to all my stops all through NE Oklahoma and post signs.

Over 5 hours of driving around back roads of OK . Plus I found out that I can't use my state fuel card twice in 24 hours . That was a fun fact.

So yeah I understand on exhausted

Rgr on that, Thursday was my first day of 'work from home' (Friday I had already planed on taking leave so I got the day off).

It was as long boring and painful as I thought it would be. Set all day wait for the phone to ring or an e-mail to come in. All the while resisting going out and doing yard work garden work, jump on this computer and digging into some good gaming stuff. Anything other than setting there and waiting for said phone call or e-mail.
