Hey Josh as far as looting and stuff goes will do the following.

1. Rosemary was doing that since the start of combat. She isn't made for mass combat. Will only keep something and not tell the rest (including Elise) if it's a small shinny, made for her size, and she takes a liking to it. Will ask Elise to identify it in a couple days saying "hey look what I just found".

2. Send Puppy out howling like he is chasing something way off to the right. Basic thoughts/communication to send to him is "your free now, don't let those wimpy little guys control you anymore. Go find a she and have lots of little ones. However, could you do me a favor and lead the rest in another direction". Pretty much it's a Free Willy moment.

3. Tell Thrak he shouldn't spend too much time here unless he likes running a lot and that I will meet up to them later.

4. Detect magic and start looking for worth while stuffs, only stop at the leaders, sub-leaders, magic users, and ogres, for full looting unless I see something glowing.

5. Cast "clean" to get the 5 gallons of blood off me.

6. Avoid scouts if they come (Hopefully chasing the puppy). Flying + Ring of Blending (+19 Hide) ftw. Heck even if not flying it's not like they can track me.

7. Consider going back to town for that Staff of the Woodlands. And decide against it at this time (unless I cannot make next week, lol).

8. Lose chasing people (if there are any) in the forest and meet up with the party.

9. Sleep for 2 days.

10. PROFIT!!!!

PS: Yell if I missed something obvious.

Thrak did not spend more than 20 seconds looking for loot.

No, I am going to have to combine them together into one post. I will have it done before the game starts. BTW, Kaldor's men will only recieve one share of the XP, divided amongst themselves. This change takes effect starting on the second to last session.

Treebore, here are the notes I took during the game concerning Kaldor's followers. The rest of the stats you can dice for before next session. That way all of the modifiers can be taken into account swiftly as the need arises. I'll also need to know what weapons each of your cavalry are going to specialize in, they are now "veterans" i.e. 1st level fighters.

Cavalry #3 (Str: 15, Dex: 6)

Cavalry #4 (Str: 12, Dex: 13, Con: 14) dead

Cavalry #5 (Str: 13)

Crossbowman #1 (Dex: 13)

Crossbowman #2 (Dex: 14)

Lawrence (Str: 13, Con: 10, Dex: 11)

Patrick (Str: 10)

Treebore, I'd like to get a list of their stats, weapons, and armor before the next session begins (inlcuding horse HPs and armor).

Only 2k+ till level 8, yeah!.

FYI Josh, myself and my wife have plans tonight so I probably won't be around to play. At best I would be a late late arrival. If I am able to, I'll log on to Skype to see if people are around.

As for Stregh, if you need him for healing or cleric stuff, my macros should be up to date. Check the thread for my gear including potions and scrolls that I own and ones that I carry belonging to the party.

Going to laugh, but seeing Ani Difranco tonight. Scenery should be quite nice, even if none of them are interested in men .

Do you know how many hours it takes to write up what are essentially 16 PC's?

I don't think it would take that long, all I need is their attributes, weapons, armor and horse HP and armor if needed, with a note on specialization if required. The only option would be to say that they all have average attributes.

Example:

Infantry #1 HP 5/10 Str 13* Dex 12* Con 11* Int 9 Wis 11 Cha 13 W: ex halberd A: snail mail Spec: halberd

OK, but from there on its going to be assumed they have it, because I am not going to write up detailed gear lists, etc... Magic items, yes, write it down; general gear, they have it.

Now that the party is at a bit of a crossroad so to speak, I think I may semi-retire Stregh so he can go train for his next level. I don't think the group will want to sit around and wait for 6 weeks. So, Stregh my use a sending spell and contact Artesur and see if he could hang with him while he trains. I can roll up a temp character to join with the group until the 6 weeks is up and fly back to the group when done.

What do you think?

I think you may want to wait and see what our CK decides after he thinks some more on what we discussed after the game last night on this very issue.

He definitely intends on never using identical training rules in his future games. Maybe none at all.

After some consideration I've decided to get rid of training. However to advance a level, the amount of time it takes to train must pass before one can attain it. This way, characters can still adventure without having to wait. XP can still be gained but the total cannot exceed the amount needed for the next level minus 1 point. I will let you all know what the current date is shortly, so you can update your calendars. Stregh has about 6 weeks to go, however it will take several weeks of travel time just to reach your destination, assuming you are all leaving the plateau.

So to clarify Josh, Stregh will continue gaining XP towards Cleric 9, and when 6 weeks in game time has passed he will reach Cleric 8. In the mean time, until that time has passed, he will still be Cleric 7?

Yes. He will max out at 300,000 XP if he happens to gain that much before the next 6 weeks go by. The reason why I'm doing this is to keep PCs from advancing too rapidly or more than one level at a time. Rapid advancement is still possible, but with these time requirements it will never be in a matter of days.

Just checking anyone else not happy at all about leaving things as they stand?

We did just find the "Fighters go kill those Beholders Scroll", any thoughts about going back and what could be required?

Try to find allies in the elven forest? I am assuming that the druid has some contacts there.

Where there not a dwarven outpost around here also?

Cannot do much for the city other than what we have done. Response from the army would take too long...

Cannot see going ninja like and flipping out and killing everyone working with our current group.

Other options?

Gee, you guys don't want to fight any army, but get one single solitary scroll of protection from magic, which lasts less than half an hour, and now your willing to go fight an unknown number of Beholders, any one of which are far deadlier than the Army.

I think I understand now, my travelling companions are insane.

Bah, 30 minutes is long enough for me to sacrifice our knight and his lackies whilst I steal the GEM. Hell, I am protected

But fighting armies without the quil ball of death is boring, besides, need to leave some from the city or we just cried wolf.

A good part of it is that at least Elise doesn't really care much about the town at least compared to trying to stop this evil from growing any larger.

OOC: Besides Josh isn't a complete jerk, he wouldn't make things where we where totally and completely outmatched... well probably...

Josh, two quick questions:

- Would you allow full capability of casting Wizard spells while wearing armor, if a character was a Cleric with the Magic domain?

- Would you allow Paladins of a Neutral immortal?

The reason why I ask is because I'm thinking of making a Cleric of Lokena ( http://www.pandius.com/lokena.html but this is almost completely made-up by Marco Delmonte ), either Wizard/Cleric/Knight, Cleric/Knight or Cleric/Paladin. Cleric/Knight would be the least headache in terms of what can and cannot be done.
