I'm thinking of running a March playtest of some of my own material - the dungeons below Castle Zagyg - in order to see whether it would be an absolute meatgrinder or somewhat survivable for my real, face-to-face group. Is there any interest in being my poor guinea pigs?
The ruleset we will use is Basic D&D (ca. 1981). If you don't have a copy, then you can use Labyrinth Lord as a reference. The game will be set in Yggsburgh and use the nearby Castle Zagyg for a dungeon. Characters would start at whatever level I need (probably level 1, but I have 3 dungeon levels so far). Expect the zany.
Any takers?
Castle Zagyg: Meaningless Death Online Megadungeon
Just for the month of March? Any idea what day and the hours? Via SKYPE and Maptools?

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Well, there may well be multiple chances to delve the dungeons in the upcoming months, but a campaign this is not. I am merely proposing mindless dungeon romp fun (for the ulterior motive that I can try out all my tricks and traps on y'all before my face-to-face players have to deal with them). I am flexible for time, monday-friday after 5pm EST and any time on weekends. We would play via Skype and MapTools.
In a way, this will be kind of like running tournament modules. Feel free to try and break my dungeon.

I am interested, but it would depend on whether it clashes with any of my other current games. FYI, I have a six month old and have often had to be afk for periods of time during game play. My players in my game and when I play in other peoples games have accepted this and seem not have have any problems with it.
If you have lots of takers, I'll keep away due to my commitment right now, but a good ole dungeon crawl intrigues me. Been playing a fair number of clerics lately, would probably go fighter if I took part.
