We will be using OpenRPG to play

Game System: Castle & Crusades 3rd print

Setting: Forgotten Realms FR (3e)

Character Starting Level: 2

Character Generation:

Stats- Rolls will be done on-line with the CK. You will roll three sets of 4d6, keeping the highest three numbers. Player will choose which set they want most. Player may arrange scores as desired.

Race- Player may choose any race from the C&- PHB and the FR.

-> All race attribute modifiers are changed to +1 or -1

-> If the race has an ECL rating, add 1000xp per level for each ECL rating (ex. Drow have an ECL +2, so you would add 2000xp to each level.)

Class- Player may choose any class from the PHB

-> You may multiclass, multiclass rules are outlined in Crusader Vol.2 #4 p.12-13

-> No restrictions on weapons or armor (penalties still apply)

-> If a cleric uses a weapon of their deity, they get +1 to hit with that weapon.

HP- 1st level gets max hit points, second level will be rolled when rolling stats

Alignment- No restrictions on alignment

Spells- Players may choose any spell from PHB or FR

-> If using a spell from FR please let me know so that it can be converted correctly.

Gold- Each player starts with 1000gp.

Players may pick a character region and start out with an extra language from that region and the equipment in addition to their purchased equipment.

Experience- Experience will be rewarded to the party at the end, before the next session starts. Items that were not identified during the game will be available to use and identified next session. If a character has enough xp to level, then all character adjustments will be made at the end of the session (hit point roll, additional spells, etc.). After the character has been updated, a copy of the character sheet must be sent to the CK before the next session starts.

Death- Player maybe raised either by another player with the correct spell or by a temple. Player will not suffer any CON penalties, but subtract 500xp from their current xp. Characters can roll up a new character if they wish, that character has to start one level lower than the average of the party, the character will be introduced into the game at the CKs discrepancy.

If you are interested please let me know!

I would be interested in playing - I'm looking for a game to join and have used OpenRPG before - but it depends on the time slot. Weeknights are a bit iffy for me.

Good luck with your game. My interest raised when I saw the setting. I think I am the only one currently running c&c using the Forgotten Realms setting on these boards. My first attempt last year ran about 15 sessions and my current one is at 16 now, once a week and we are good I'd say for at least another 8-10 sessions depending on how the game plays out. Myth Drannor is the backdrop for mine and I have been writing the campaign myself. I have heard good things about the module you are looking to run.

Here's to another CK running the Dales!

Hopefully as more people get interested we can find a time and a day that can work with the majority of the people.
