Star Wars SAGA, 6 sessions...

In a couple of weeks my son and I will begin co DMing and game for our Thursday Irregulars group. Its bi weekly, running opposite of the Traveller game.

So sign up if your interested, tell us character concepts your interested in playing, and we will be doing character creation because these will be 7th level PC's.

So tell us race and class, or concept.

The general theme of the game is going to be smuggling in the Legacy era, its the time frame after Luke Skywalker has died.

The last Skywalker is Cade, and he isn't really doing anything.

The Empire is fragmented but the Sith are once again in control of the biggest chunk of it, and you will be smuggling on behalf of a couple of rebellious groups. The Yuuzhan Vong, Roan Fels Empire in Exile, and the Galactic Alliance.

My son, who is the Star Wars Historian, will be giving more accurate details as game day approaches.

So post if you can commit to a bi weekly schedule, on Thursdays, 6 to 9 PM PST, 9 to midnight EST. Plus tell us what you want to play.

Hi, this is Treebores son the one that is going too run this game and I'll giving you guys a clarification of what this game is going to be about. The legacy era is 130 years after the battle of Endor. What happened before this era is that a few years after the battle. The Empire tries too take over the Galaxy a few times. But they all failed, and then the Vuuzhan Vong invasion started. During this time Chewbacca and all of Han Solo's sons die or go missing. Also the Vuuzhan Vong Terra-form a few worlds. The invasion stops after Han Solo's daughter learns how to control and counteract/scramble the bio-technology the Vuuzhan Vong use. This leads to most of the Vuuzhan vong leaving the Galaxy. Then the Jedi went to the few Vuuzhan Vong and ask them to help terraform the planets they ravaged. They accepted and during the terraforming the new Empire under the control of Darth Krayt sabotaged there efforts. after Roan fel heard of Darth Krayts return. He gathered all of his loyalists and formed the Empire-in-exile. Soon after that Darth Krayt destroyed most of the Galactic Alliance and assumed most of the Galaxy under His control.this were you all will start of at and correction Cade Skywalker was not useless He was actually very helpfull.

After thinking about this for a while, I've decided to not participate. School starts up for us on Monday and I've been switched to a new building and new grade level, so I need to focus on getting that squared away. Plus the addition of a new client will cut into my time with the Mrs. Thursday nights were usually the only night when neither of us has anything going on. Sorry guys, have fun.

So young Jedi it is.

I may run a PC myself, if I do he is going to be bioware oriented and the appropriate alien race. Not a Jedi. In fact the race he will be is immune to force powers. Wish I could say the same about light sabers and such.

I am not aware of anything going on at that age.

As for the SW game, Man! It sure takes a long time to write up 7th level characters!

are we starting this tonight? Ive never played Star wars Saga Ed and have very little experience with 3.X, so I might be a little slow on the uptake but im sure ill get it quick enough.

Im not sure what I want to play, is there anywhere that I can take a look at the various classes/races?

Oh and Jarred wont be able to make it tonight, his modem is broken and hes waiting on a replacement

Its looking more and more like tonights session is going to be finalizing character choices and working them out. The only PC I have finished is Aramis', and the rest are in various stages of being finished.

The rules are somewhat similar to C&C, so you shouldn't get too lost.

Just learn where your 3 saves are, what your skill ranks are, and your to hit is, and you'll be fine. This will all be done for you when we get the character write ups finished.

Power outage last night, which seems to have affected my router. So I may have trouble joining up tonight, we shall see

Also, I know I have mentioned this before but just to repeat: with the advent of autumn, it gets pretty windy here, which can mean power outages. So if I disappear or fail to log in without notice, that is probably the reason
