hopefully this is right board for this, but am looking to get together for a face to face c&c game in nyc.

I don't think anyone will object to another crusader looking for a group to join.
Have you checked out NearbyGamers.com or any other sites like that? Checking Nearby Gamers for C&C shows a few players in & around NYC - might give you a starting point.
