Any games taking new players or starting?

Post by Hungry_Gamer »

Hey, I was wondering if there were any games starting or ones that had room for any new players. I don't have a busy schedule, but I'm new to this roleplaying thing, and so far only have Castles and Crusades.

Wulfgarns game is likely open, but he has a lot of house rules. So if your looking for a "pure" C&C game to play his isn't it. Mine wouldn't be either.

The guy who runs the purest C&C games isn't running anything right now.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Thanks! Though, I don't mind house rules at all. I was just saying that I don't have any extra material, y'know?

You don't really need anything besides the 2 core c&c books. Even those of us that have our own house rules usually state them up front on our threads.

Then give Wulfgarn a try, my game is full up at 6 players. ssfx17 probably has room, but I believe his Sunday game is pretty much on hold until the new year. I think Lord Seurek is also full up. I don't know about the pbp games, all the ones I am talking about use SKYPE and Maptools.

L.S. is indeed correct, for another example mine are in the first posts of the thread for my Tuesday game, LS and ssfx17 have websites we are given links to. Wulfgarn has yet to finalize his, but he can give you most.

The web site that I use to host my house rules haven't been updated fyi. Instead, the first post of my thread "Forgotten Realm: Ruins of Myth Drannor" has my latest version of my HR.

FWIW, I run a monthly online game on Saturday nights 8pm EST using Fantasy Grounds II. The next session is November 14th. We're always willing to have new players come and try us out.

Most of what we do is BtB, though the nature of the C&C ruleset invariably requires rulings to guide play.

Our website is here:

The General Info forum has the House 'Rules' info the Company of Delvers forum is the Saturday night campaign.

R
I enjoy running Castles & Crusades online using FGII. Current campaign(s) on hiatus.

Willing to run one-shots for players who want to see how C&C plays on FGII. Feel free to contact me.
