Any open room for a player for a few weeks?

Post by Lurker »

Hi all

I should be finished will all my school work by next Wednesday (30 June) and will have a few weeks of free time prior to deploying. I'd love to get in a few games, if anyone has room and doesn't mind me dropping out in mid July.

I'd love to give piperdog's Pankratiast a try.

If that isn't allowed I normally go for Paladins, rangers or swashbuckler types. However, I'll play anything for the few weeks I have - I've never been good at magic users so don't expect great things from my character if he's a MU...-

If there isn't any room, no problem.

I will need to confirm with nwelte, but he is running for political office, so time is an issue for him. Maybe he will be willing to let you fill his spot while he is campaigning. Dropping out by the week after July 10th will kind of work, because I will not be running my game for a couple of weeks then due to running up to Minn. and then out to Troll Con.

So I'll need to ask nwelte and see what he thinks, if he is good with it you can join up with my Tuesday group. If your interested in trying out Hackmaster Basic you can definitely join that group on Mondays.

There is a crazy fun CORTEX game going on Fridays I am pretty sure you can join as well.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Wulf

Thanks for the invite, but Dark Heresy isn't my cup of tea. At least not right now with me having played a total of 1 night at good ole fantasy over the last year +.

Tree

It's been YEARS since I've been to the wilderlands, so I'm rusty on the setting. That being said if you have room I'd love to play. 10 Jul is about right for my last week. The date for the balloon going up isn't out yet, but from reading between the lines on prep for the tasking, it will be some time around that.

If you do have room, I'd like to give piperdog's Pankratiast a try. If not & we are using all of CSPerkin's classes, I'd probably go for a duelist, a duelist/thief or a fighter/thief. unless there is a need for something else in the party.

K, like I said, I'll need to see what nwelte thinks. Then I'll be able to answer your questions.

You up to stepping in tonight? If so a third level single class character, or second level dual class character, 1500 GP.

Tree sorry I missed this, I was nasty sick for the last week, - the only good thing about running 102-103 temps at night is the COOL dreams...-

If the room is still open this week I'll be there. If you'll allow me to play the Pankratiast :
http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames

I'll do a 3rd class character.

If not I'll play a dual level duelist thief (if I remember right the game is based on CSPerkins' classes.)

I'll have them rolled up and ready, just let me know which one is in.

If I missed the boat ... sorry about getting sick, and thanks for the invite.

Lurker, Tree is unable to run games the next 2 weeks (7/13 & 7/20) for sure and maybe the week after that (7/27). This coming Tuesday I'm gonna run a one off Dark Sun adventure using my DS Adaptation and my Book of the Mind. You are more than welcomed to join in for this. It may also carry over to the following week, but we'll have to wait and see. I started another thread here.

Rigon

Thanks for the invite, just hung a few question in your thread.

Tree

Again sorry I missed the chance to game with you. Thanks for holding the slot for me. Sorry I was sick, if it hadn't been as bad as it was, I'd have been there and ready for my duelist/thief to do amazing things (or go down in a blaze of glory) ... Hope you have a good break, and your goat gets better
