Greetings all,

A query to you, if I may. Assuming price is proportional, what would you be more interested in for the Victorious RPG:

1. A single adventure of 24-26 pages.
2. A "flip book" with 2 adventures of 15-18 pages each; making 30-36pgs.
3. A single book of 8-10 adventures around 100 or so pages?

Option 2 is the best of those from my point of view.

That said, I'd really, really prefer it if you published materials that made it easier for me to make my own adventures rather than complete modules. Give me stuff like NPC collections, really short adventures I can drop in to fill out a session of my own game, and most especially "story starter" collections of plot hooks that I can expand to fit my campaign. A 24 page book of really good adventure hooks would be infinitely more valuable to me than any 24 page module could ever be.

I like the 2nd option best.

I wouldn't b*tch with any of them, though.

I may be the voice of decent, but, I'm not a fan of flip books ...

I'd lean towards option 3. However as Rigon said, I wouldn't complain about any of the 3.

Now, to chase a rabbit ... I'd argue for books/adventures that weren't just 'steam punk' ...nudge, nudge horror ... wink, wink ... ;)

Thanks all, keep the info coming so I know where to concentrate.

Regarding a book of plots...That's an option too. I'd probably want that in the 30-odd page range though, so sufficient NPCs can be provided premade.

Lurker, oh don't worry. I've got 2 modules (Evil in the White City and Falls the Shadow) that are "Grim" in every sense of the word!

Option 2 appeals to me as well. But, I'd rather a screen (I'm a sucker for art on one side and quick tables on the other).

The major reason I picked the second choice is 2 fleshed out adventures are better than one.

If the modules in a flip book are interwoven, that would be a more unique approach. If the adventures are disjointed and not connected at all, individual books... or, one collection work, like a "book of lairs" (which seems fitting, anyway, given the RPG theme.)

So really, any of them can work.

Personally, I would like 2 or 3. Option 1 should be for those stand-off modules, or if you can't do multiples due to time restraints.

I would like option 3. A 30 page book for adventure ideas would be good also.

Option 3 for me. I don't have time to write my own adventures, but do have time to modify ones I can buy.

I think some good one shots would be nice maybe two per book, but I do like the thought of plots. Most gm's don't use published material, but I do. Savage Worlds rpg's plot points (for those who are familiar) were a huge draw for me. I don't have time to come up with really great adventures, and those plot points gave me an entire campaign, maps, npc's, stories, etc. I'd like a little of both...one shots, but also some sort of campaign.

I'm fine with any of the options, but if you can have them linkable, Option 3 would be my favorite. I also always love a book full of pre made NPC's and story hooks.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
