Cost and Weight/Enc of Spellbooks, Weight/Enc of Coins

Okay, I can't seem to find this info anywhere. I could just use the d20 values, but I was wondering if I'd overlooked something.
How much does a blank spellbook cost? Weight? EV?
How about the weight and EV of coins?

I'm at work so I don't have the books handy.
Me, I've scrapped the whole EV thingy as too much hassle. Stuff has normal weight in pounds. Things like potions, torches and so on are 5 [whatever] equals one pound. Coins I just cheat and say 10 coins equals one pound. d20 is as reasonable a place as any to try equipment lists/costs/weights from.
Yeah, it's really fast and loose but I view things like encumbrance and weights to be more of a "let's be reasonable folks" as opposed to a hard limit that people need to follow. Every so often if something seems funky, ask for the character sheet. Go through the sheet and after you've reached the "reasonable" threshold, start crossing stuff off.
If the players know you're going to just eliminate gear as you please when they're over the line, chances are they'll be careful to keep things at a reasonble level.
If you're in a position where the group can't handle things in an easygoing fashion like that, I'm sure someone else will be along in a while with more useful answers from a book.

Medieval books could be pretty large - I'd go with 2 EV for the book. For coins we've been using 100 coins = 1 EV.

I'm mostly like Scurvy. The only thing I really worry about the weight of is treasure.
Just go with a "system" your comfortable with.

I could have sworn it's in there somewhere that 50 coins = 1 EV...
As far as the books go, this is exactly why I wrote in the Ad Hoc rules. How big is the book? 1.25'x1.5'x.5' would have an EV base of 3 (1 for the 1.5' measurement +2 for the 1.25' measurement)... it'd be considered Light weight (generally less than 6 pounds) so -1 there. So EV 2. Bigger or heavier books would scale up from there.
