In my 3.5 campaign, I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the speed of play. I enjoy the 3.5 rule set, but when you have a group as large as I do, it takes a hell of a long time to get through battles. So, that is why I'm revisiting the idea of converting the campaign to C&C. I'm stating to think it might be worth the trouble after all.
One thing I was pondering... would there be any downside to keeping the 3.5 XP requirements with C&C PCs?
Also, any general tips for converting 3.5 PCs to C&C ones?

3.5 to C&C character conversion question
The only real problem might be that classes are not balaced by level, but by exp.
A rogue, for example, has almost half the exp requirements as a wizard, so will level faster. This is balanced by the fact that a rogue is mechanically weaker than a wizard of the same level (IMHO). So all exp being equal, that 6th level rogue and 4th level wizard will play balanced.
As the exp requirements get much higher at higher levels, it might not make as much of a difference. You might see it between levels 2-6, however.
