Here's something I'm using in my current game (which is a fusion of The Doomstones Campaign from Warhammer Fantasy 1st edition and Against the Giants for AD&D 1st edition) two sets found by the party and actively in use by them, after having defeated a brigade of drow. It was a fight where they expected to die, but managed to pull together in the last few rounds and rallied to victory through some good rolls and better tactics... of course, they did not completely defeat their enemies (two major NPCs used a word of recall and escaped; a wizard used teleport and likewise retreated) but there's always Saturday's session...
Anyway, just thought someone might want to use it, or provide feedback or something.
Full Chain Shirt of the Depths Each link is forged from the strongest adamant and enchanted individually, a process that requires an extreme amount of time but worth the wait. The Armor Class bestowed depends on proximity to the surface, becoming mundane when exposed to non-subterranean conditions; for every one hundred (100) feet, or the equivalent of two (2) dungeon levels, beneath the ground, the Armor Class granted increases +1, to a maximum of +5. It is weightless and able to re-size to fit any bearer from halfling to ogre. Full chain shirt of the depths is a favorite armor amongst drow and evil dwarfs who will often attack any donning it in hopes of retrieving their prize.
