Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Very nice! The French is actually kinda neat. Not sure that I'd use it, just because in the heat of the moment, I don't want to sit there and translate, but the style is sweet! Nice job.
Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Translate? I can pretty much tell what means what just by where it is located!
Nice lay out.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Sadly, my French isn't quite what it used to be. I think I still remember enough to be able to function with the sheet as is, though. I do really like it.Treebore wrote:Translate? I can pretty much tell what means what just by where it is located!

Awesome! Can you combine them so it is easier for me to print front and back?

Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Just did a quick skim, and it's fantastic work. Thank you. Some issues of translation (and minor changes to improve the sheets) are noted here:
DD3-1
* What's the "Bonus Roll" column after the Attributes and their Mods? Is this supposed to be for Primes and their TNs? If so, change "(Bonus Roll)" to "TN (Prime?)".
* At the bottom of the box for "Armor Type" and "Shield" add "Misc.: _______________".
* Change the "Racial Abilities" box to a "Saving Throws" box and list:
Paralysis/Constriction (STR)_____________Arcane Magic/Illusion (INT)
Breath/Traps (DEX)____________________Divine Magic/Confusion.Gaze/Polymorph/Petrif. (WIS)
Disease/Energy Drain/Poison (CON)_______Death/Charm/Fear (CHA)
* Combine it with the "Saving Throw Modifiers" box to the right, moving "Combat Modifiers" up to its own, smaller box. That way, the Saving Throws section is longer and more evident.
* "Health Points" should actually be "Hit Points".
* Under Combat Scores, change "Distance" to "Ranged".
* "Saving Throws Modifiers" should be "Saving Throw Modifiers".
* In the Weapons section, "Dom" should be "Dam".
* Change "Class Abilities" to "Class/Race Abilities".
DD3-2
* "Light/Medium/Heavy" should be "Lt./Mod./Hvy/Overb.".
* "KG" should be removed from the Light/Moderate/Heavy box (Encumbrance in C&C is EV-based anyway) - see Note below
* The "Pull/Raise/Carry" section and mods aren't from C&C. and should be removed - see Note below
* The "Dex Max, Penalty, Speed (10, 6), and Sprint mods" aren't from C&C. and should be removed - see Note below
* "Munitions" should be "Ammunition".
* "PO" should be "GP".
* "PA" should be "SP".
* "PC" should be "CP".
Note: If you remove the Pull/Raise/Carry section and Dex Max, etc. sections, add the following:
Encumbrance Rating (ER)
Encumbrance Penalties
Light: 75% Move, +1 CL DEX-based checks
Moderate: 50% Move, +2 CL DEX-based checks
Heavy: 25% Move, +4 CL DEX-based checks, no DEX mod. on AC
Overburdened: Move 1 ft./rd., auto fail DEX-based checks, no DEX mod. on AC
DD3-3
* "Spell Bonus" should be "Bonus Spells".
* "Known" should be the same font as the rest of the section.
* "Turn Undeads" should be "Turn Undead".
* "modif sag." should be "WIS mod.".
* "Incan." should be "CT".
* "Target" should be "T/AOE".
* "Sav." should be "SAV/SR".
What program did you use to create the documents, by the way? I could make the changes above myself if I had the files (especially if any of it is not clear).
cheers!
Colin

That is one really pretty character sheet! Plus, on top of that, it's easy to find what you're looking for... good job!

Thanks all, and thanks RAD Colin for the comments.
I'll try to fix the minor problems this week-end
Unfortunately I don't have the originals sheets, si I must edit them with Foxit PDF Editor, and it's a little difficult
I'll try to attach the 3 sheets in only one pdf for the next time !

Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Serious improvement, mate, and hugely appreciated. Thank you. The only real issue is the lack of dedicated space for recording the different Saving Throw types; everything else is extremely minor (namely, "# Known" being in the wrong font, and "(Wisdom Mod)" being mistyped "(Wisdom Mo)d". Apart from those elements, it's just about perfect.

Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Because I have the full version of Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Illustrator, I was able to make the changes I noted myself (along with removing some odd artifacts from the pdf). I've also modified and updated it for my own use, ensuring the Encumbrance section is C&C-specific (and doesn't include Metric measurements!), adding a section for the Saving Throws (nicely spelled out), and changing all the Notes squares into lines for easier use.
