Cool stuff. I like the dwarf stuff. Thought of making them surface dwellers before, but I've got a different way to go with them, despite some coincendental anomalies

From the histories I take it you like to run games with strong political type themes. I like that.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

I do but the players aren't so keen on it. However I plan to sway it that way. (My campaign is set in Alardane and it's not a pretty landscape there politically and they're going to have to deal with it. )

Also note that these histories were ideas for a novel I planned to write and still may one day but my wife noted I wrote better for the gaming sphere than I did the other.

Personally I have always liked fantasy and history that was more on the political sphere. What got me into the more political themes was the Wars of the Roses, histories of the Holy Roman Empire and a little playstation gem called Final Fantasy Tactics.

Don't get me worng though action is also something I like and on Itar the two mix regularly.

I wanted something different. There is an NPC dwarf that the players are going to encounter that will blow their minds. Bryn is thinner and sexier than most dwarves she knows it and will use it especially to the humans she likes to attract.

Ok, The Century War draft is finished. I'm going through my notes on both technology level and the climate. I haven't tuned them up in awhile so it may take time to see them. I'll note that the climate is cooler due to the ash and gases in the atmosphere from the disasters. The tech level is a bit higher than most worlds and it will be explained why in the notes.

New stuff is up. I have the overview of the Karst region done. This will be the main area of the setting. Also have a monster list started. Some of them you have seen before but they have now been reunited with tehir world.

Hopefully I'll soon be adding a rough map of teh continent and some maps of the Karst region. Alaso will be adding new monsters. Two in works are the giant copperhead and the Goblin Beatle.

Danke. I'm going to focus more on the Karst region than I am the whole world for now. It's the region I have wanted to do all along and I hope to deal more in that area than anyplace.

For those that have been keeping up on the work I am doing I have put a Q&A thread up. Also I have been thinking that I may hold off on the rest of the world and focus mainly on Karst and The Raven Lands. Both are areas I want to explore more and I have been kicking around writing them up as a drop in to be used in any world.

I was wondering if others would be interested. The goal is to hopefully this year get a .pdf gazetteer of the area up for distribution. I have found (IMVHO) that my strength lies in doing these types of descriptions and monsters rather than classes, spells and rules. Just need some advice on how to proceede with the project.
