Getting My campaign off the ground.

Post by The Evil DM »

I'm running a weekend game for my boys. Starting them in shadows of the halfling hall.
I decided to only have two deities -the Source for all things good and the Darkness for all that is evil.
I decided to take a tip from the "Princess Bride" and name my kingdoms and countries after coinage- Florin, Guilder, Drachma, yen, Piastre, Centavo, kopek, sestertius, etc.

I'd like to hear about the ramifications of having the ditheism in your campaign, as it's something I'm plannign on doing as well in my homebrew. Maybe start a thread in "The Crusades" forum after the game gets going.

I went with a trinity, throwing nature worship into the mix. But I hope this works well for you.

I plan on having nature as well, but it's not a god. Nature will be a force, or a power source, that druids will be able to draw their power from. Technically not a god but hey, it's all semantics. :)
