Thanx to the trol lords for the free update. but any of you here know where can I find a list of the product changes?

Now, the only change I have noticed is the new logo.

Huh wha? When was there a 4th printing of M&T?

Updated pdf version on drive thru. Not 4th. They added bookmarks, etc.

Only question I have is...anyone else's update come without the front and back covers? Those 2 pages are missing from the new version with bookmarks that I downloaded.

I think they remove those now for size... Or something like that, I don't like it either.


Fist thing I notice is that the person who did the bookmarks missed a section break between "ZOMBIE" and "COIN, EXTRAORDINARY ITEMS...." I assume it was meant to be "Treasure" as a section header. Without this you have to expand Monsters to find a the treasure and monster links.

The second thingI notice is the Ioun Stones are fixed, yea, but the bookmarker included COlor, Shape, Effect, Market Price as bookmarks and Market Price as a section heading. <sigh>

Over all I liket he additions and one more rev and it should be good.

They just released the Classic Monsters pdf to backers, and it has the covers. Here's to hoping they come back to the M&T pdf. The art is part of the package. Size be damned! Or something like that.

Does it clarify the xp for monsters? The explanation where each part of the stat block is described says the XP: field has "average" xp for the monster, which I believe is untrue (and why would Serl then make an average XP document? Thanks by the way.).

My reading is that the XP (for listed monsters, not talking about the chart) of the form "i + j" is saying the base xp is "i", and for each hit point you have rolled, add "j" to the base. In other words, i + (j * hp). Previous M&T keep the "average" xp language.

Yeah, that freaked me out, too!

oh sorry, I thought it was the 4th printing because it has got the green cover as the PHB 4th printing. mine too is without cover. thank u to all: I have understood that only little details were introduced (bookmarks and graphics) in this upgrade so I don't have to reprint it all.

I noticed that too. I think I'll just go through and fix it. Still working on adding links into my PHB & CKG.

So, this update doesn't include any of the errata, is that correct?
