from Steve: you start with a 10 AC going up to a 20; 10% would be 1 20%would be 2; 30% would be 3 and so on.
Don't ask me to make sense of it. Thats just the explanation I was given.

PHB 2nd printing.
Page 128, OGL section 15.
The M&T entry has two typos: Troll Lord Gamees and Robery Doyel.
This should be fixed for future printings, unless serl likes his new Troll name.

I have to confess that I haven't looked through all nine pages of this sticky - yes, call me a lazy so and so - thus, the subject I'm about to bring up may very well have been dealt with prior to this. Nonetheless, I'm going to include my ruminations, for whatever good they're worth.
Anyone who is - or is planning on running - "Assault on Blacktooth Ridge" should be aware that a couple of monster stats are MIA. To wit, the three ogres in area 14 of the Vargolg have been left out. Since these suckers form a rather tough bunch for the PCs to handle, especially if they're level 1 - 2, as the module suggests, I filled out the missing piece with the following:
The ogres are all as per M&T, with 30, 28 and 27 hp respectively (they are described as being large examples of the breed). All are AC 16 - which I felt was a respectable stat - and two of them attacking with extra-large battleaxes and the other with a two-handed sword. Damage was assigned at 1-10 + 4, with slam capability. Jungger - who was running a five-person party (not counting the druid's trusty wolf) - was given a bit of break in that I had one of the ogres leave the sanctuary a bit early to go check on the gnolls in area 13. This gave Jungger and his boys a chance to knock one of them down before the other two attacked - this, as it turned out, was a prudent move, as some nicely effective arcane magic tactics Jungger utilized kept the party from being decimated.
I would just like to add that I had looked through the module before the game, but had neglected to notice the missing stats. I've stuck enough barbed objects in WotC's eye at this point, but just to twist the pointed stick one more time, it took me all of thirty seconds to rustle up a trio of heavies for Jungger and his boys to deal with. Certain other...related games, shall we say, would have rendered that sort of rapid response as a near impossibility.

Well, the main thrust of the thread is Players Handbook errata, so paging through all the posts of this thread wouldn't have done you much good. However, do pass that errata on to the trolls, though I suspect the all seeing eye of Sauron has already noticed your post.
Speaking of errata, I'll be making a new thread once I receive my 3d print PHB. Also, once the 3d print PHB is in people's hands, I will no longer update the 2d print errata on my website.

I don't know if it's too late for new errata to be corrected in the 3rd printing of the PHB but here's some additional stuff anyways :
p. 12 : Track; it's kind of odd that the ranger gets to "ascertain distinguishing characteristics" before he "can identify the specific type of creatures tracked".
p. 56 & 78 : Incendiary Cloud; damage contradiction between spell summary (4d6 per round) and spell description (3d6 per round).
p. 58 : superfluous spacing between "Feeble" and "mind".

Way too late. The third printing is printed and going out to customers. ^_~`
And of the above, the only real erratta is the Incendiary Cloud. The others are either fixed or stand as is.

Does this mean we have our first errata for the 3rd print with the Incendiary Cloud example?

Actually there are three. The Incendiary Cloud example and two more minor typo's that were spotted at LGGC.
Already noted.
Not so bad I'm thinking. ^_^

I know this is late for any kind of errata list, but is the duration of Spider Climb really 2 rounds? I would think 2 turns would be it.
Pretty worthless to only be able to climb vertical surfaces and ceilings for only two rounds at first level.
Obviously I am going to house rule this, but I would like to know the "official" anser.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

So... do we have an official (or at least semi-official) 3rd Print errata list going?
I know Traveller was dutifully and diligently compiling the previous printings. Where are we at with this one?
And how bout the M&T 2nd printing?
(I'm not singling anyone out, I'm just curious since both have been available for a few months).

Just the odd displaced page number and missing equipment note.

Out of curiosity, is the one regarding EV for items with carrying capacity considered official or unofficial?
Seen here:
http://www.freeyabb.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... llordgames
It was noticed that this wasn't changed in the 3rd printing which is why I'm asking.

No one 'officially' gave me an answer whether to fix it or not. So I guess it didn't get fixed.

I have an extensive list of the errata for the 3rd print of the PHB and the 2nd print of the M&T. However, like gideon mentioned above, some of it is stuff which the Trolls havn't specifically sited as being errata. The rest of it is minor gramatical and layout problems.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected problem, my shipment of books (including the 3d print PHB and 2d print M&T) from the BOGO sale was delayed. I should be getting my books Monday or Tuesday, as they were shipped UPS. Then I can put everything you guys have found on a page and host it, along with anything I might find.
P.S. I will NOT be doing up errata for the Quickstart rules, so don't even ask.
