Rule Lore: why promoted like an adventure on the Anvil?

I have a lot of expetations for Rune Lore, but, beside having some short adventures in it, it seems to me more a companion than a simple adventure module.

There will be anyway more books like this? For other aspects not touched by the core rulebook for an exemple?

Probably because the original product that "Rune Lore" is based on, "Winter Runes", was marketed as an adventure for D20/3.x. And from things Steve said back when he started working on the C&C conversion, that was the original intent: an adventure, with material that expanded part of the setting, and a new set of spells & magic items for players.

But as he worked on it, what the product became changed somewhat: the scope became much bigger. The label it's being promoted under didn't change with the expansion of scope.

Note that I'm not part of TLG, just a fan who has been following the development of this product eagerly.
