CKG - Tertiary Attributes

Has anyone tried using tertiary attributes as presented in the CKG (p.230-231)?

I'm thinking about giving the 12/15/18 system a try, but I'm afraid it might make human a less attractive choice for character race.

How so? They would be 3/2/1, where as demihumans would be 2/2/2, no? Or, is there something else I'm not seeing?

I've thought about it, too. And that's precisely why I haven't done it. But I'm the same person that kept level limits in 1st and 2nd Edition AD&D.

I'm sure some people will think it won't imbalance anything. And it very well might not. With the C&C rules, humans have that third primary as their racial benefit. And I think it makes good sense, too, if you adhere to the idea that humans are a more diverse culture. The addition of the tertiary attribute still keeps humans ahead (since they;re 3/2/1 and the others are 2/2/2), so it's hard to tell just on paper. I do think it would have an impact, though.
