Scarred Lands...to CnC
Just wondering if anyone had done a conversion, or played in a campaign using Castles & Crusades?
Doesn't take much, really. Now, if one wants to use all the creatures, spells, and whatnot... and one wants a "full" conversion (as in, all written out, and not on the fly) then there's a bit more work, but that's only because the original is d20. Otherwise, its just as easy to convert Scarred Lands as it is to use Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms or Chicken Poop.

Naw, Serleren, no true. Chicken Poop has been quite difficult to convert. There's a great deal in the details that doesn't translate as well as one might expect.
As for The Scarred Lands, now that WW is going bye-bye, maybe Scarred Lands can come back.

White Wolf has merged, or will, with CCP or something. Some company that makes an online game. The new company will have creative control... but there might be a neat World of Darkness online game come out of it, but the quality and style of the pen-and-paper stuff might suffer (not that I thought it any good for some time now...)
The only neat thing, to me, that would require conversion from SL would be the plethora of PrCs. Even then, much of it can be done with slight changes to existing classes. The Sea Witches can be druidic-mages with an altered spell list and some inherent abilities.
Oh, and I do have one conversion area... the Blood Bayou. I like that place.

Does anyone have a link to a press release about this?
Is there any connection between that and why I can't seem to get to the Necromancer Games site?

Not a PR, but something, anyway. Its being talked about on the WW forums, too. Also, the NG forums.
The main site has been fubared for a while, and should only be incidentally affected. Once completed, it seems NG will no longer be with WW, though it sounds like they will not go away... which is good.

Well, Bill keeps saying that NG will stay afloat, and he has very high hopes for CITY OF BRASS, TEGAL MANOR, and TOME OF ARTIFACTS. The rest of the projects will probably be delays for a long period of time, but will see the light of day.
NG is just too good to go away forever.

Does this mean WW's S&S line is going under as well?

I plan to convert some ot the monsters over to a homebrew if I ever get around to it.
