Quite a Deal!

A friend of mine recently bought his PHB.. given that it was the first gaming related book he bought in over 6 years of gaming.. I says congrats to the Trolls.

So he got a bargain at our local gaming store, the owner mentioning that C&C doesn't sell as much around here. Seeing the pack of kids hurling 3.5 books in a frenzy when their Dm said all book were allowed for Pc creation, I understood what he meant. I felt dizzy from all the screaming and shouting "Get the Complete this.. complete that... Book of broken feats and.." so I left.

Later on at my place, he was checking his new acquisition, and I mention to him that the druid pics was pretty cool. He checked and couldn't find it. I wondered so I checked for myself... all I could say was "Dear God NO!"

Yep.. he bought the first printing! Quite a deal he got but still..

So I'm looking to find out what changed and what was added to the 2nd printing of the PHB, so I can manually add it to his book. (I.E: Clerics don't have Sound Burst as lvl 1 spells in 1st printing).

Any help would be appreciated.. if there's some kind of errata or document that someone made.. even better!

Might follow the erratta thread and check Traveller's downloads. He's got all the erratta compiled ^_^

I've tried that but I can't seem to open the 2nd printing errata.. Something about cannot repair files.. Thus the reason for this post!

Ya. I find that one has to download the erratta and open it with acrobat 5. Doesnt seem to open as a link. ^_^

Sides, its the first printing erratta your looking for. The 2nd printing one hasn't naught but a page of eratta listed.

I use Foxit anyway, so I can't tell you if there's a problem with your reader programs or not guys (errata loads fine in Foxit). But I can tell you that there's no problem with the new errata files I uploaded last week. They opened fine in Acrobat 7, and Acrobat 7 is what I used to create them.

That might have something to do with it. I find that things created in acrobat 7 tend to not be very friendly with Acrobat 5. ^_^
