I can see why people would like to see this in HC, and the covers are much cooler, IMO. I hope the Trolls do an HC one day. With these covers.

They are very convenient, and mine is very worn out.
What I really like is that the players think you are full of crap when you are reading it "upside down" and telling them about some rule.

First thing I did was tape the edges and binding with clear packing tape. I've been doing this for over a decade now because it helps the soft covers stand up to the abuse of use for much longer.

I get my travel-sized soft cover rule books coilbound - makes them super handy to use at the table, and I don't have to worry about the spine wearing out.

Hardcover? Yes please. However, please ditch the silly flip thing. PHB+M&T.

For now, the Flipbook is all you can get. If you're lucky enough to be at NTRPG, the last 4 or 5 M&T's and the last 2 CKG's should be for sale there. Not to mention a Tainted Lands or two.

I am with O on that. Ditch the flip book type format and do a hardcover PHB/M&T hardcover. I would buy many. And as a collector, wouldn't it be cool to have a PHB/CKG/M&T limited edition hardcover? Yes, it would be a book that could double as a bludgeoning weapon, but man, that would be sweet! Maybe we will see something like this for the Kickstarter coming up.
